If you're lucky enough to attend a Blackhawks game, my advice it to arrive early and try to get down behind one of the goals near the glass for the warmups. This will give you a real appreciation of just how the puck is fired on goal. You'll wonder how goalies and defensemen are willing to do everything they can try to put their bodies in front of it.

The only red shirt uniform that's a bit similar with the Black Hawks is New Jersey, and they have black shoulders in the jersey. And sometimes in bad light the flyers orange may look red. Bt with black helmet and pants, no one team has red jersey. Away uniform (white), they have those black & red 3 stripes, which are kinda similar but in white (& black) in this red home jersey. And the shoulders have 2 (stone) tomahawks crossed. You may look some videos on YT of their unis represented, or the nhl home page, and check a few clips of each team. Maybe pick 2-3 per day - there's 31 teams currently. Well, Chicago you know already.

Thomas Baxter tbh hockey and basketball have a much higher skill ceiling than American football. Hockey might have the highest ceiling because of the initial requirement of elite skating ability, minimum. Some nhlers have seemingly superhuman skating ability. Then add all of the possibilities with hand eye coordination when using a stick with a puck, and the kind of moves that can be done at high speeds. Anybody can run, and train themselves to be more agile on their feet. But add that learning curve of skating on ice and the speed of play along with it, it’s incredible.

I played ice hockey when I was 13 back in 93. During practice one day I caught a puck right in the calf from a wrist shot all the way from the other side of the rink by my coach. It felt like....May as well have chopped off my leg with a dull axe.

Brett Gibson I enjoy the NBA playoffs as well. I’m especially happy my 76ers are relevant again, even if their shooting leaves something to be desired. The thing with the NBA is top seeds advance at a higher clip than the NHL. Hockey has more upsets. Even a 1 v. 8 can go down to the wire and be intense! You never know. Comes down to hot teams, goalies, and personnel matchups.

I just want to say, this is your best react yet, imo. It's a great checkpoint from when I saw one of your first hockey reacts and how you've progressively become a fan. Coming from Canada, the sport is a cultural staple, but in the U.S. it's not. People there (among other places) have to give themselves another reason to follow it (other than being told to watch it or conforming to it); one they have to find on their own. I personally cannot wait to see how your interest in the sport flourishes. Cheers!
