It will. Start LoTM. Finish the book 1. And don't jump into book 2 immediately. Take a break and maybe read some other webnovel like SS or something. Then start book 2. Also, stay the fuck away from any LoTM videos or posts. As a web novel with a huge focus on mystery itself, spoilers WILL ruin it.

The only way for them to adapt this masterpiece and do it justice is to either: Have infinite budget and be willing to hire the best Japanese studios like the one that does demon slayer. Actually give up the idea of an anime, it wont do justice to the source material. Focus instead on hiring dark souls team or the one that did detroit become human to make a game for Lord of the mysteries that follows the story to a T. Wont miss any detail from the story,can be come consumed in a few days instead of waiting 10 years to adapt the whole story in anime.
