This show was unprecedented - “Mr. Robot” is what’s possible when you give a singular writer/director/producer/showrunner/creator/visionary the opportunity to plan out the entire run of the series before it ever goes to air. Sam Esmail directed 39 of the 46 episodes (all of S2, S3, and S4 - for contrast, Vince Gilligan only directed 5 total episodes of “Breaking Bad”). It gives it a unique look that is wholly it’s own, but also in the shot composition, the song choices, the casting, and the excellent score from Mac Quayle. If “GoT” or “Star Wars” had this kind of a plan, we’d be having an entirely different conversation. It’s also SO good that after you finish a season, you can go back and rewatch everything that came before it with new context that changes everything. It’s revisionary. And the twists and turns, characters and arcs, and everything in between will take you on a serious journey that also knows not to drag it out past it’s inevitable conclusion (looking at you “LOST”, “Dexter”, “Weeds”, “Nurse Jackie”, “House”, “Californication”, “The Walking Dead”, “Game of Thrones”, etc.) I just want to be able to see it in 4K/DolbyVision/DolbyAtmos someday. I hope they release it on disc in those formats eventually. Great work highlighting some of the shots in this show!!

I've rewatched it from season 1 before season 4, and started again after the finale. It's just so freakin' weird how the whole show changes several times once you know what you know up to a specific point. You can now put together all the tiny bits and pieces you've been fed from episode 1 onwards, but didn't understand or couldn't see the first time around. And then you realize it's all there, always been there right from the beginning.

When you realize that Elliot works at a company called "AllSafe" because thats what he wishes his world to be - all safe. And hacking was Masterminds way to protect Elliot by identifying dangerous people and to create leverage in case they want to hurt him, something Elliot couldnt do against his father. The show is so well thought out even his profession has a deep psychological basis. Its not just a cool gimmick. What a masterpiece.

Objectivly, I think it is the best series ever created, can't even imagine another one matching in framing style, deepness, actuality, dialogs, social and character design and well thought plot twists all together. But subjectivly, I guess that it isn't the most favorite show for the majority of viewers, neither for me, just for preferences and as it is embedded in such a depressiv and confrontative environment. I've never felt about a show the way Mr.Robot did. It is just pure perfection. Sam Esmail's mind all over it, the cinematography, the music, the cast, the intros, the writing and the plottwists, the psychological depth...every single thing. I guess the fact that it hasnt been as popular as other good(less actually) shows,is that its about a subject sort of controversial and censured by media, and that is the critique to savage capitalism and the FSociety and Elliot's desire to destroy it.

I don't know if you take this tv show very seriously, but I do. And I need to spit it out. Mr. Robot is amazing in a philosophical and maybe, spiritual way. Spoiler Alert!!! The finale of the series feels like an end of a dream, right? Or some kind of enlightment. Or self-awareness. Real Elliot wakes up in the end and we watch him at the cinema along with his other beings. Mastermind Elliot's life has come to an end. And this remind me the last two episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion. They are really similiar if you look it this way. Both characters trying to save the world. Both characters are traumatized. Both characters dealing with their traumas and eventually, they reach their most authentic selves. Maybe we can call it Ego Death. When I look into my life, my experiences, my own self awareness, my love for art, there are so many connections between these things. And couple of months ago, I finished Atlanta and that show has a similiar vibe. The reality and subconscious. Dreams and the real life. Yes maybe we all just living in this world unpurposely and since we are human beings, we always search for a meaning. Or this whole life is just a dream. I don't know. I've been thinking a lot about life, death, existentialism, spiritualism, nihilism, absurdism, dreams and so on. In this modern and corrupted world, we all try to live. And we live in a post-truth age. We all have our own meanings, own feelings, own realities and so on. So, what are we gonna do? We gonna seek for happiness? We gonna seek for the truth?(If this is a real thing) Eventually we all gonna die but, is it really okay for you to ignore all the knowledge and existence and enjoy this life? Can we manage that? I think this is a complex thing and if you read it all along you can share your thoughts with me. Peace out!

I do not think much about existentialism or spiritualism, all I think of is leaving something behind to society, for our next generation. There is no point of thinking about existence,, we have come to life, having our shear of world, well sometimes modern capitalism society is not best case scenario to giving back to the society, or leaving something behind for future generation. And capitalism makes it more hard to do so. Well this master peace of tv series is like a thing to leave behind. People in the future will watch this and again gain somebody will think about the system. Being alive and doing some work for human kinds is more than any awareness of existence.

WARNING: SMALL SPOILERS AHEAD !!!! There are many aspects like cinematography, acting, hacking and other technical themes that shine when talking about this show but the one part that's going to stay with me forever is Elliot's character. The Elliot's arc is one of the best in my opinion. Elliot is a weird but highly relatable character. Although I'm nothing like him but I always felt a connection with the character at every stage because of the situations he was put in. 4x7 is my personal favourite episode ever. The main reason being that it had the biggest reveal of the entire show. Also, it has some really solid acting performances. Rami Malek's a legend. The first time I watched it, I was literally shaking for 10-15 minutes after I finished it. When the show came to an end I was already deeply attached to all the characters that I was crying in last 10 minutes as I didn't want it to finish. I personally felt that the ending leaves you wanting more. So in my opinion despite some other loose ends (which are the reasons for the show's rating being slightly low i.e. 8.6 on IMDb), they really nailed the Elliot storyline which makes Mr. Robot my 2nd favourite show ever. (1st being Dark). It's right among the top ones. If you're looking for a show to watch, you should try it. Please excuse the grammatical errors as I'm not a native speaker. I just wanted to share my thoughts about the show.

I started watching Mr. Robot, about a week before it entered it's last season. And I was all caught up by the second episode. By far the most hooking Tv show I've ever watched. I mean I'm not that much of a tv guy. But this show hooked me from the first episode.

There is no, and there isn't gonna be another series like mr. Robot. It's a party of surrealism and realism at the same time, visually it's a jewel, the music was perfect, and the story really hooked me up. I couln't stop watching it until i finish it just yesterday! Now what i'm gonna do with my life hahaha!
