Very nice way of teaching the floral painting style... Your plus point is that you give the viewers enough time to understand the technique while you are painting. This results in awakening the urge to leave everything aside and start painting right the moment. I also got inspired after watching the video listening to your live musical commentary . Depression is a hell of a thing. I suffer from it and what I've learned is keep busy. Have projects. Painting can be a wonderful hobby and great distraction from our own heads.

Thank you for your favolous painting and lesson. By the way, silk flowers didn't get to US until early 80's. I use to make silk flowers by hand because I coulnt' find any here. Not even Chinese. Now are beautiful.

I have watched this video over a dozen times and tried to paint these 3 times and FINALLY realized that she is marbling the pink with white, and marbling the purple with white and especially dipping one corner of the tip of the brush in white. Why oh why didn't she say this?? I have wasted time, paint, and canvases. MARBLE your colors and dip one side of the tip in white if you want these beautiful strokes. Oh, and on the white flower she picks up mostly a light mauve and barely tips the brush with white and by pressing the brush down, she makes sure she gets the mauve in there, especially on the two front turned up pedals and less so on the back facing pedals. You're welcome.
