this series changed my life like 15 years ago, when i was in a very, very turbulent phase of my life. it was like a sledgehammer, shook every fiber of my being. it really made me see that anger/disappointment are just unnecessary bags of bricks that you can put away easily. it made me see that no matter what happens, life is magical with everything in it, and to appreciate it you need tranquillity, serenity. you have to accept everything around you, for better or worse. only then you will grow, mature and cherish the only the thing you will ever have. i still can't forget the shot of nate's disappearing in the rear-view mirror. it completely destroyed me, only to pick the pieces afterwards and join him in this journey. since 2005, that stupefying finale, i couldn't have brought myself to watch a single episode again. it bears so heavy on my memories that i think i cannot re-watch it again. six feet under, for me, will always be the ultimate work of art. it is not a tv series, it is beyond that. it is an anomaly, and a beautiful one. like life itself.

I was just thinking the same thing, that this show encapsulates life itself, with all its beauty and pain. I rewatched it a decade after I’d first seen it, and I think it made an even bigger impact on me. It resonated in a different way. I’m curious to see what I’ll take out from it the next time I watch it, when my life will change yet again.

It’s not underrated. It was massively impacting at the time. The thing is, go convince younger audiences to watch a show from 25 years ago when they are bombarded by so many shows every season, most of which I doubt the worthiness . I have seen six feet under at the time and two more after. I have said to myself I still want to see it one more time, but I wish I could see it with someone else and not alone as the previous 3.

Hi @@alejandrogonzalezfuentes6462 It could mean many things, but my understanding is that in taking a photo as she was departing for New York, Claire was trying to capture a part of her life that was already over. Nate's words in her mind told her that she couldn't change that. She couldn't bring it with her by taking a photograph, nor make it last. It was a part of her life that had already come and gone. ♡

@@SelenaSea Thank you for answering me. I understood that Claire is the improve of all the others characters personality and with that quote she did better than Nate because she with her photographs keeps memories while Nate only lived for the present. @@nanofan100 small things add up. When your perspective on the relationships in your life or the breakup you are going through or the death of a loved one changes, you can come to terms with it. This show has certainly left that effect on its audience because of how relatable and real the characters and world are. I think I speak for most people when I say that it's made them at least look at death more closely and examine how we feel about it.

One of the most unique and compelling shows ever. A show that centered on all aspects of death, was really all about life. The cast was brilliant and the characters were realistic, each having their own flaws. You came to care for them all. At any given point you loved or loved to hate them. Some would get on your last nerve. SFU could shock you and then in equal measures make you laugh and make you cry. If you were lucky enough to have watched from beginning to series finale, the epic ending made the journey well worth the bumpy ride. I doubt we'll ever see a show like this again.

The best drama of all time, without question. I rewatch the series every year or two & it's amazing how powerful it remains even after seeing it at least 15 times. And what's really cool is how I identify with different characters depending on the phase of my life. As I age, certain scenes hit me differently than when I was in my early twenties. It's like the show grows with me, even though it's been over for 15 years. I love the Fishers endlessly.

What an absolute gorgeous tribute to the show. I’m currently on at least my 4th binge of the series. I come back to it whenever life hits me too hard. This time it was being diagnosed with smoldering multiple myeloma, after thinking I had active disease for the months it took to do all of the testing. I had Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2001, so this was my worst nightmare coming true. Hopefully it’ll never got active, but I feel like it’s a temporary reprieve.

Six Feet Under, a piece from another world. This Tv show changed my life forever, made me realize it's okay life has a dark side for everyone I'm not special to feel that, life will always keep running with you happy, sad or even dead (as you can see in Nate running scenes) I always felt Alan Ball tried to show Nate as the perspective of time passing by. I finished the show in summer of 2018. Till this day I can't see anything was ever written better than SFU. I used to be decreased, sad and isolated but thanks to this tv show, I realized the importantly of our time on earth and we have to enjoy along sadness. Forever grateful to this tv show who made me who I am today, a happy 27 years old man. I felt down this days of summer at end of July so I watched Six Feet Under videos to remember it's okay everything will be better. Alan Ball, you will be forever top G. Love from Saudi Arabia.

Just finished it, can't recall crying so hard over a series/movie. What makes Six Feet Under one of the best shows of all time is that it never takes a moral stance, you could be from any religion or creed and every person that watches it will take something different from it. My favorite line in the whole show is from season 1, where David is struggling with his sexuality and says to a dead pornstar the following: "I thing God appreciates it when there's love involved."

I share that death is the center theme of Six Feet Under, but I can't avoid to say how this show touches other big concepts such as the mental health, the brotherhood or family disfunctions. And how all the problems related to those thing inevitable just fade away in the end. As soon as I saw that this video was uploaded, I just knew that 'Breathe Me' by Sia would be the song of choice. The song that plays in the final moments of the final episode of this show has stuck with me for a very long time. I also remember it stuck with me largely because I lost my grandmother shortly before I started watching this show for the first time and so when I reached the conclusion, the emotions were running high for me. No matter how many times I watch the final episode I'm always brought to tears. I'm really glad that this was uploaded and I'm hopeful that more people will go and check out this absolute gem of a show because it's one of my all time favourites. P.S. If I may make a request... Is there any chance of a 'The Beauty Of' for 'This Is England' and the three subsequent mini-series' that came after it? There's a lot of potential for that one and I contend that the film and the show are criminally underappreciated and could certainly use more eyes on it.

Pas les mots devant cette vidéo... À peu près ce que j'ai ressentis devant le final voir même devant tout les épisodes. Edit : C'est ma vidéo préfère de ta chaîne ! Ton travail est absolument magnifique.

Can you all please stop asking for other films? I tried editing videos for years and i know its really difficult. Can you guys just appreciate the fact that he is bringing us videos with the passion and without getting paid by youtube and probably he has also a work or studies to attend. So please enjoy the video and wait patiently for the next films...

Recently, i tried it a third time and basically bingewatched the entire series. I'm glad it finally won me over. Magnificent show. Let it win you over as well... Great video btw!
