The beauty of the Indian writing systems

The languages of India employ a syllabic writing method where a unique shape is used for each syllable. The basic quantum for a syllable is a combination of one or more consonants and a vowel. A vowel or consonant by itself is also treated as a syllable. When a consonant by itself constitutes a syllable, it is assumed that it has 'a' as the vowel as part of the syllable.

This music, geez, it slaps hard with these cool shapes in the background. As far as I've got to know and understand Devanagari I realized there were more Abugidas to be seen over there, but I didn't know they would feel so different and beaultiful. Good job whoever's on charge of this channel!
