Even though it's mimed, it's still really cool to see them "perform" the song. I just wish the camera man would've focused on Vince when he was doing the solo, cause man that solo is just beautiful.

(Apologies in advance for the long response!) I know miming was very common for TV performances back then, but I think there's a good chance they are actually playing in this footage. Most of the clips shown on 192 TV usually have the cleaned up/remastered etc. studio versions of songs playing over them like here. Take this Hollies clip for example - the first link is from 192 TV, but the full show it came from (Colour Me Pop, also BBC) was released recently and restored audio reveals they were in fact playing live in the second link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pIDapXV_gt6Ybq8si=U0pciH4ceTiprmW2 kzbin.info/www/bejne/hKvOlKR4ad12eqssi=ucRllzULedegEgnb So my point is there might be live audio of Birdie Told Me and World from these Bee Gees clips out there somewhere! 😊

Okay so I know for a fact that this was shot on the BBC as there's three behind the scenes photos of them on set shooting this broadcast. & they also played World. Edit: This was actually shot on a show called Once More With Felix, but it seems like it was a show affiliated with the BBC.

Felix would be Julie Felix, who had a variety show on BBC tv in the late 1960s
