Very, very well done, Infusion26. Maurice Gibb's "odd & yet unique" staccato-ish type interpretation of this song is somewhat of a head-scratcher. He could've easily have played the "rolling-high-notes" that most disco songs lent themselves to for bass lines in those days, but being the consummate musician that he was, the path of least resistance, was not his playing style, at all! Since the very first time I heard this song, Fall of 1977, I always felt he was playing an Alembic Bass on this album, due to the deep "plunging" sound (if I am allowed to even use such a crude term to describe what I am hearing) that ever-so-gracefully touched each and every track of their contribution to the Saturday Night Fever project. Maurice was a totally under-rated, under-appreciated bass player, only really honing down his bass playing skills by sort of a "default", when the brothers decided to hire a "full-time-band" to record their efforts from basically 1974 to early 1981, where he was relegated to primarily bass guitar. Before that era, Maurice focused on acoustic guitar, piano, mellotron and other early analog polyphonic electronic keyboards of that day. The late 80's had him experimenting on digital synthesizers and then finally coming full circle to 2001, when he gracefully brought back into play his famous acoustic guitar for the "This Is Where I Came In" recordings. Then, quickly after...Heaven. - BCRadio

Listen to the ground There is movement all around There is something goin' down And I can feel it On the waves of the air There is dancin' out there If it's somethin' we can share We can steal it And that sweet city woman She moves through the light Controlling my mind and my soul When you reach out for me Yeah, and the feelin' is right Then I get night fever, night fever We know how to do it Gimme that night fever, night fever We know how to show it Here I am Prayin' for this moment to last Livin' on the music so fine Borne on the wind Makin' it mine Night fever, night fever We know how to do it Gimme that night fever, night fever We know how to show it In the heat of our love Don't need no help for us to make it Gimme just enough to take us to the mornin' I got fire in my mind I get higher in my walkin' And I'm glowin' in the dark Give you warnin' And that sweet city woman She moves through the night Controlling my mind and my soul When you reach out for me Yeah, and the feelin' is right That night fever, night fever We know how to do it Gimme that night fever, night fever We know how to show it Here I am Prayin' for this moment to last Livin' on the music so fine Borne on the wind Makin' it mine Night fever, night fever We know how to do it Gimme that night fever, night fever We know how to show it Gimme that night fever, night fever We know how to do it Gimme that night fever, night fever We know how to show it Gimme that night fever, night fever We know how to do it

Really good except you're adding an extra eighth note at the start of the first measure of the chorus. Its 4 eighth notes, not five. As great a player as you obviously are, im thinking you chose to put that extra note in there( and one or two other places) because you like that phrasing better than the original.
