haha, I remember the first time I saw this cartoon. My dad told me: hey, I've got you a VHS of an ugly cartoon, and you know WHAT? they fart and do gross things in there and it is about a dead man! And I rushed him home to watch it asap and I still love it a lot :) it contributed a lot in my sense of humor and choice of male friends, I suppose :) When I was a kid and a student I chose the beetlejuciest boys ever and made friends with them :)

I wasn't around when this series premiered but my mom had pirated the entire series and I watched it when I was younger. Enjoyed it a lot but my only memory of an episode is one about a sentient car. Watched the movie too but zoned out since my child brain had an attention span of a few seconds I kinda zoned out so for years the animated series was my entire knowledge of Beetlejuice. Years later I rewatched the movie and Beetlejuice might have had the biggest glow-up of any WB character, went from being a pedo to going on adventures with a goth girl to fighting Batman in a Scooby Doo mansion

The thing is his hair *wasn't* that green in the original movie. It was like a platinum blond with some slightly greenish mold growing in it. All the old art and merchandise and theme park appearances favored making it more yellow or white. It's only in recent years they've put more emphasis on the green and I'm not sure when or why that changed
