I've made hundreds of bracelets from bracelet patterns on braceletbook that are normal patterns. I have been making bracelets for a few years now, and I was always in the mindset I'm never going to be able to make an alpha bracelet. I've even tried watching tutorials, and I still didn't understand. After watching your tutorial at 1:05am in the morning, it has inspired me to try making an alpha bracelet. Help! Can you tie the leading strings together with the background ones when you are setting it up? I did that but for some reason when I switch colors I cannot tie the string on say the right side because the string thinks it is on the left side. So when I tie my string, I cannot make knots because the strings are horizontal!
