I so enjoy your tutorials! They are very easy to follow. I will reference your instructions many times as I make my first journal at the ripe old age of 71. Yikes! Really and truly I don't feel or act like my age. Nik, I adore your personality and sense of humor! I am so glad I found you on KZbin! You're the cats pajamas girl!! Keep doing your videos! Thanks Nik!

Same here Jill I am a 70 year old ceramicist/plaster caster here in Corfu Greece and have always wanted to do journals. Over the years have collected so much 'stuff' now I know why. I love these tutorials they are sensible, clear and very informative thank you so much Nik especially showing how to attach the 'signatures'. Looking forward to more ideas. ;0)))

The acetone in the glue is exactly why it feels cold. Acetone evaporates very quickly and that’s what makes it cold. Love your tutorials! Getting ready to make my first cover. Thanks!!

Watched all your videos for this series, sooo helpful. I stated in another forum that I have been so intimidated to start a journal, I've been making ephemera for about a year and a half! I've made envelopes and pockets 10 ways from Sunday, I was just so afraid to start. Thank you for your videos, Nik, and all the freebies you offer us. My confidence is strong, ready to do this and have fun, and make it my own!!!!! Thank you. 🤸‍♀️💃

So I've recently found you and can't get enough of your videos! Love them!! Yesterday as i'm walking thru Lowes with my husband i'm telling him all about your car drama from last year and he says "now where did you meet this friend?" Oh I've never met her, i watch her on youtube, he stopped in the middle of the aisle and looked at me like i had grown two heads. I have no doubt that if we lived closer together we would be great friends though :) Now i'm going to get started on my first junk journal!!!

I recently was asking on GF how to get started on making a junk journal. I somehow ended up here and I am sooooo glad I found you here! Your tutorials are fantastic!! They are easy to follow. I love your sense of humor and generosity of time in showing us how to sew a book and decorate the cover. I finally feel confident that I can do one of these :) I am super excited, I will def check out the teachable tut as well. While I may not get to make one soon (major changes in life, all good), I can't stop thinking of ideas to make it. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart!! PS: I have a crop-a-dile that I didn't read the manual for either and haven't used it much because of it lol. Time to take it out and use it.

Thank you Nik for sharing your knowledge 😀 I have been watching ALOT of KZbin channel’s, taking notes on things that really appeals to me. It is an awesome community, and many crafters mention your channel. Having moved into a house, ALL the craft supplies I’ve accumulated for the past 20+ years are now in one place, along with my dear departed Mom’s crafting stuff. Unfortunately, I’m in a much smaller room and I’m still organizing and finding furniture/storage that will work. In the meantime, I put on videos while I’m “organizing” and rediscovering. Thank you for all the great tutorials here, I have signed up for the free teachable that you’ve mentioned in this video.

Okay ... with your AMAZING instructions I just completed sewing in my first signature pages to the book spine ... wasn't paying attention and put three rows of four holes in my first signature ... ugh ... figured out my mistake right away so that the REST of the signatures went pretty smoothly ...
