also if you’re struggling with manifesting the talents you need, a good rule of thumb is to trash all pets that fail before reaching adult. if the pet reaches adult and has thus far got all talents you need, PAUSE!!! go hatch that pet with another as a precaution before continuing. now that you have a backup egg, level the adult pet up once more. if it fails no worries you have an egg to level instead with even higher chances of the needed talents. if the adult pet did not fail, wait and hatch again or continue leveling and test your luck! personally i suggest continuing to hatch back up eggs but it can get costly on the gold so after you’ve got your first backup egg it’s up to you if you’re willing to spend or save and take the luck route :)

the point of the starting gen 1 pet is to hatch it with other gen 1 pets to get max stats on it. hatching with a starter pet with low pedigree doesn't do anything, other than the first thing, which are max stats, and being able to see which stats transferred over.

Thanks for watching! The best time to invest in a pet is as soon as you can. Energy is refilled each time you level up your character. There are also timers in between hatches that make it difficult to speedily create a pet. Hatching on the kiosk is also pretty expensive. It can cost close to 90k gold per hatch. For me, mega snacks have been really important in leveling my pets up quickly. I did this through gardening Couch Potatoes. I have videos on my channel about how to efficiently obtain and farm them. I know it’s tedious but it’s completely worth it once you get what you’re after. Goodluck!

@@shaqqaboom8171Im at lvl 35 and i have a ok bull pet, im mainly striding for support role so i take it i should look for buffs, debuffs and resist for my pets instead of damage, i like unicorn to cause it comes in clutch at some random points in some battles.

"the lower the pedigree your starting pet is, the more likely you'll get the talents you want later on" This is completely false. Pedigree is just the total number of the rarities of talents your pet has. It has no effect on getting the talents you want later on.

So many pet videos and all fail to say this system sucks, if you are a new player and you do not have mega snacks just avoid it simple as that, you will be hatching and hatching and wasting a lot of gold for this so called perfect pet, just take my advice, if you do not have membership or have a garden that would give you some mega snacks pets are not for you, this is a very crappy system that kings isle has created and has never updated cause makes people waste money on so called Monday snacks and crap, just level up your wizard and ones you get high enough them you can farm for gold and snacks on bosses, i am talking to the new player if any, cause I think at this point of this game everyone just has multiple accounts and just have their kids playing, not dissing your video , I think its straight to the point for us old players but new players have no idea how to get this snacks unless they look at the crown shop they do not know the amount of gold etc, like every time you hatch with a new pet in the pet pub, you will be dissing from 70k-100k gold every hatch so think about it if you are limited and do not have a membership plus the amount of snacks.

Yeah pet training is not worth it without mega Snacks, I don't have a big garden yet and I been playing for more than a decade, never had to pet train till recently, I farmed for Blackberry Jellyfish to craft a snack but Kingsisle decided to ruin that last year, for some reason they ruined the farm in aero village... I just wish gardening wasn't the only way to get Mega snacks.
