The beginning and the end of 2023/2024 trapping season

With no snow this 2023/2024 season Danny's trapline couldn't be accessed due to rivers and rocks and only one part could be done if we had enough snow and cold temps but mother nature had other plans for the winter and Danny had enough of waiting and we could only get out for a short time.

Has been a short season this year. I can smell that bait here in Peterborough. It has been one of the mildest winter that I can remember. At least Danny get some traps out. Thanks for taking us along.

Yes a real bummer for sure we had plans to stay out on the trapline if lots of snow for a few weeks at a time but that plan wasn’t part of mother nature or old man winter lol thanks for watching !!

How was this season for you? Did you guys get much snow? I got a 2024 skandic 900 ace in terra green this year, showed up in October, and I put 18km on all season lol it’s gross. Most snow we had on the ground was maybe 8 inches this year. Last year there was 4 feet still in April. This year we are back to mud and in the teens and I don’t think we are getting more snow.
