I feel just a simple painting wall will be better... Ofcourse the art on the walls look beautiful but that is expensive and we can still use that amount for other purpose. My one suggestion for clean dimapur is 'STOP TOBACCO'. Nobody wish to clean tobacco spit. How can one be a part of the team?

I really appreciate the good work..keep it up.. while i was in Sikkim i found out that even the taxi have basket or garbage bags inside the vehical..so that we don't throw anything outside.. Making a rule for every shop to have dustbins with garbage bags will also help for easier cleaning.. Lets hope for the best.. Your hard work will bear fruit.. Thank u for this innitiative..

I urge all citizens of Nagaland to contribute in this cleaning drive n inherit the habit of cleaning our places. I'm from dimapur, I rly appreciate n thank the people who took initiative n took part in cleaning dimapur streets. Everyone from all over the state wants to settle down in dimapur but no one thinks abt saving the town n keeping it clean so that wen outsiders visit atleast they will not go back with negative perception abt our town. The ministers n big contractors just use the fund provided by govt to enhance their own houses n live luxurious life in n outside dimapur but don't do wat they need to do for the town. It's a shame that our place has been given the name "dirtiest town".

If anyone is shopkeeper here, please do not forget to keep a dustbin beside the shop. U see people litter around on the road. I keep telling the shoppwners who don't keep it. And it will be helpful if u too acknowledge them about maintaining a dustbin. One incident happened to me which shocked me: ~Once I was passing the market, as I was going through the crowd of people, a beautiful, well dressed lady was passing by. And suddenly a newspaper felt to the ground from her. She walked by. I was like, "Oh! I guess she dropped her thing". And I picked the paper and called her saying that she might have dropped something of her unknowingly. To which she replied,"Ohh moi pelai se tho(I actually threw it)". I was dumb strucked. How she possibly a well learned person, a responsible citizen, just thow away her waste that too on the middle of the road. Dude! that was not just a small piece of paper or plastic, that was a one full paged newspaper. Even though no matter the size of waste do not throw it lavishly. Build some common sense in oneself, and find dustbin to throw it..... PEACE! we all gonna live here, we all gonna dwell here, lets all maintain cleanliness. :)

The other day I parked my scooty near East police station, waiting for a friend who went to the ATM Booth. Amidst the heavy traffic jam, a Gypsy taking a turn caught my attention. As I kept looking at it the Driver stretch out his head, spat on the newly painted road divider, then drived into the police station. It was a police vehicle. My suggestion towards cleaning up of Dimapur city is building a proper drainage system and dumping of garbage should be strictly checked everywhere. Subsequently, the garbage trucks are to be provided to make aware of the citizens that DMC has got our back in dumping our wastes. Also a strict checking should be imposed to people who spit and throw plastics outdoors.

I would like to suggest something regarding dustbin if one can come up with a creative dustbin...many people can come up with an idea ...eg like a basket ball net above a dustbin or a dustbin which can play a song if one puts waste or a mechanical dustbin which can eat up waste attached with bicycle bla bla bla ....kids will love to clean up trash...just a suggestion ...we can't ask everyone to put waste into dustbin ...trust me some people are stubborn.. never change ...no matter what 🤦
