I wouldnt wear the tapers as jewlery or really any time after you stretch. Because the uneven weight warps the hole a bit. It happened to me, it usually happens with larger sizes though

I can't speak for everyone, but personally, I began stretching mine because the entire process was fascinating to me. It feels like an accomplishment when you go up a size. Plus, there are some *gorgeous* plugs out there, in hundreds of styles, colors, and materials. They will shrink back to normal if you take your time with each size and only go up to about a 00 (10mm). Any bigger than that, and you risk not being able to shrink back when you decide.

I'm up to 22mm and I use hematite plugs..but I also have white silicone tunnels and my lobes are really healthy. The silicone is super comfy.

When your ears are totally healed and you hadnt just stretched... silicone is great. i had tunnels in for two months and put silicone in for about a month now and they feel great! About to go up again :)

Ok so i've never streched my ears before, or had gauges or anything. I only have them pierced. Ive tried putting in a 16g taper but its really painful and will NOT go in all the way. Can you help?

silicone tunnels are fine to wear, theyre only bad if you stretch with them. i deff recommend kaos softwear silicone plugs. i had them when my ears were stretched and theyre so comfortable

I wair silicone 24/7 i havent had any problems with them. The 1 i have r the exact 1s u have ( the pink lol) bone and sil dont smell as bad.

As a professional don't use the silicone to stretch. Wait exactly a week or two to wear your silicone tunnels. If you don't your ears will heal in the plugs and you will have to get them surgicaly removed. So yeah thought i'd give you a pro tip haha I've been stretching for two year and I'm at a 1/2". People may think its crazy but I like to have healthy ears. So yeah happy stretching! And I love your vids!:)

Ive been stretching for like 7-8 months, ive been going so slow...im at 4mm, and for some reason its so painful for me, im using tons of lube and my ears are fully healed and still its so incredibly painful! Only going as far as 8mm :)

silicone is perfectly fine for your ears i wear my silicone tunnels everyday and i love themm. the only way they mess up your ears is if you stretch with them dont do that it fucks up your ears

silicone plugs are the best things ever! as long as your ears are fully healed then you won't have any of those horror stories. and pluss silicone plugs don't make your ears smell at all! so if you don't get to clean your ears for a few days then their great!

No, it's not. Money counts in these things and you can do a lot of damage with shitty products. Add impatience to the mix and you'll get a mess you'll have to repair for ages. Go with steel or titanium, and go slow, it's the only way worth doing it.

Tapers are good for stretching up to 2g or 6mm but then use the taping method C: and don't wear your tapers as jewelry!

Well it's hard to explain an attraction. That's like asking someone why they're attracted to a certain kind of music or a certain book. It can't really be explained you're just attracted to certain things. Personally, I've been attracted to stretched earlobes since I was a little girl. Also, most of the time It's not part of a phase or anything like that. Some people actually view it as a form of art and expression and look at it as their body being a canvas and the mods being the artwork.

I always do a stretch straight after having a shower, with some vaseline, goes in so easily.

Yeah, your ears weren't ready to stretch. I'm not sure when you got your ears pierced but you should have at least 3-6 months between the initial piercing to the time you start stretching. Make sure you use a non-petroleum based lubricant to stretch. And if it hurts, it just means you need to wait longer. Being impatient won't pay off; if you fuck up your ears you will regret it and the 2.5 years I've been stretching my ears have flown by. Be safe!
