Just finished and while I understand where you’re coming from in your spoiler free review, I’d have to give this 5 out of 5 jelly tarts. Unfortunately, my triumphant end of the semester have been spoiled by illness; though it's just a headache, achy bones, and a serious case of post nasal drip, it will still prevent me from watching any more. It's also putting me in that weird loopy state where I'm aware of my goofiness, but I can't really do much to stop it. Anyways, lets hope this turns out somewhat coherent. Initial Reactions: >Ruunan is a freakin mood this episode; while I would have like to see some tension between him and Callum (or perhaps even him and Rayla, given that, at the time of his coining, Ruunan felt that Rayla betrayed him), however, I'm not against the way that it went, and I think it's very important for reasons I'll touch on later. >The 'flashback' that Ezran had with his father and mom on the throne seems important; again, I'll touch on it later, but the thing that initially triggered my radar was that, as far as I know, Ezran wouldn't have been old enough to remember his mom and dad in such a pose. >Sorvus is worming it's way even deeper into my heart. >idk why, but Queen Anya isn't really hitting for me. I don't remember her having many lines in the last season, and the ones she has in this episode seem... a tad robotic? I get the sense that she's just going through the motions, instead of actually empathizing with the destuction of Katolis. I miss the sass and dryness she has in the first act. > ik all the bi jokes about Aaravos (and I made my fair share; and, legitimately, he did start my questioning, so horray!), but the scene when her was trying out different flavors of elf left me feeling... I loved his dry commentary about the stereotypes around each element, and the sky elf was prolly my fav of them. >I like Astrid's and Cosmo's relationship. It's healthy and supportive, and we need those every now and then. I can't wait to see Astrid's journey. As for story stuff: >Ruunan not being a bastard is actually pretty important; the writers *need* us to like him, or else the plot revolving around him would fall flat. Having him be pretty chill with Rayllum and such is the easiest way to get us to like him. >I think the not-really flashback is foreshadowing Ezran (knowingly or otherwise) helping Aaravos. After all, Aaravos plans to release the dead, and Ezran really misses some dead people rn. >Callum's problem is that he either can't hold grudges or can't acknowledge someone's faults. It took Rayla leaving him for... honestly I've forgotten, prolly repressed it... for him to get angry at a person for how they treated him, and even then it doesn't hold for long. This is especially critical because it must hurt Ezran so, so much for Callum to just be ok with their father's killer being free. While I get that this is a character flaw and not a plot problem, what would have probably been best in the confrontation is for Callum to hug Ezran tight, acknowledge what's happened and help restrain Ruunan. Then Callum could appeal to Ezran's sense of family and get him to hold off on any major decision until Callum returned with Ethari. This would've acknowledged the validity of a young kid's feelings, whose probably feeling really horrid and isolated, while postponing anything major for a while. Sorry for the essay lol. Need something to distract myself so I thought I'd give it my all, cause why not?

Reel James I want to talk to you about life and grown-up and how sometimes there are changes you don’t expect and how the Dragon Prince is coming to an end well at least I believe the series already ended just at 3:01 am it’s sad to see a show you like like the dragon prince go it’s a big change but that doesn’t mean the show is gone forever the dragon prince still lives on in us all of us in our hearts ❤as the fans losing a favorite series can be like losing a loved one or a friend sometimes but they will always be with you forever I’ve seen lots of my favorite animated series end over the years like the owl house, Amphibia, Arcane Murder Drones Adventure time Gravity Falls Steven universe and hell even MLP FIM and I still remember all of them to this day. I woke up at 2:00 AM and I put on the season 6 finale to rewatch again before season 7 I finished just in time then 3:01 came and season 7 came on and I loved it I still need to watch the series finale still but 😢this season was just fantastic and I wanna say thank you to everyone who made the show with passion and love 🥂💜❤️to the Dragon Prince .

As for Runaan. It was wrong from Raylas side to just bring him to Katolis without talking to Ezz first. She should have told him they are going to free him. However. Runaan is getting a lot of the blame for Katolis burning down. Not only for Harrows death. We can see it by: - The fact Ezz forgave Zubaya (Calum sums ut up preaty good by saing a lot of things happened.) i mean they were at war. Ezzran was wise enough to breake the cylcle for Zim - He also was able to forgive Soren after he tried to kill him - Secon Harrow clearly didnt wanted Ezz to avange him, it was visible in his letter It was just a really really awfull moment, Runaan shouldint walk into the ruins of the castle.

Spoilers spoilers and spoilers from all the season: I loved how Claudias and Arravos relationship developed. We finally see Aravos as a "human" (well elf acually) but we see him lough we see him enjoy his time and most importantly we see him form a relationship thatreally seems to not be build on manipulation anylonger. Like sure he manipulates her (like with Terry) but at the same time we see him truly care about her, see her as a doughter, whitch is acually kinda conformed in the final episode. As for Ezran wow i didint expeced him to go on a revange route, but luckeley he realizes it and chooses peace in the end. However his relationship with Runan is exptreamly sad. Especially after what Runann went thought and how he shows clear remorse. But in the end they manage withch is good. Altho i must say Ezran allowing Anya to shoot at Rayla was a little to mouch. I know he is angry but he would never forgive himself if he hurt Rayla or Calum. Also i thought queen Anya was wiser than that. As for Raylum its a 10/10 the only thing i dont understand is how Calum survived dark magic. Wasint it suposed to consume him after the purification? As for Terry omg we get a Zuko reference however quickly realize in Tarrys case its a compleatly different thing. Janie and Carims story is sad, but i loved it too it shows that not evryone is redeameble, and some people choose not to change even if given a chance- thats the same problem with Cloudia. Also i dont know how anyone especially Sorren could think a Illusion of their mom could be a good idea. Anyway great season... but it dosent feel like the end. I hope netflix gives us more

@@WahveRL It felt a little bit rushed for me. I faught Aaravos would put a more of a fight, but they taken him down quite easily. Now if they don't get a 3rd saga greenlit then clues that they left in final episode about Aaravos return are pointless. Its still the best season of Dragon Prince.
