Indeed, Revo masterfully reminded me of both classic Final Fantasy and Conflict's Chime from the original Bravely Default with that. It is brilliant, I love this battle theme, already becoming a favorite of the series for me because of how fast and frantic it is in contrast to Conflict's Chime which was slow and plodding. It helps that the demo kicks serious ass too.

to be fair it was so people playing the demo could utilize the system to it's fullest extent, if the enemies went down easy there would be skills and job combos that would be too redundant to try out. the real game won't be as hard by default..... not a pun.

@@barrybend7189 Oh, I maxed everyone's jobs too by the end of the playthrough, too. I wanted to test out all the combinations! I believe that's how my party looked like when I defeated Bernard, though. Strategy was having Vanguard Seth using Provoke to draw Bernard's attacks, as well as debuffing him with Shell Split and Shin Smash. White Mage Gloria would heal and cast protect on Seth to make him extra bulky, he shrugged off Bernard's attacks like they were nothing. Adelle and Elvis focused on offense.

I think there's a subconscious thought in gamers that pits characters to jobs/roles based on their personality. Like how the leader is always an all-rounder leaning to physical, the heart of the group is the healer, the intelligent or at least cunning one is the magician, and the brave and extroverted one is the tank or full time physical. I'm sure I'm not the only one who made Tiz the Monk/Thief/Ranger/Ninja/Vampire, made Agnes White Mage/Time Mage/Summoner/Salve Maker/Spiritmaster/Conjurer, made Ringabel Black Mage/Merchant/Red Mage/Performer/Arcanist/Dark Knight, and made Adelle Knight/Spell Fencer/Valkyrie/Swordmaster/Pirate/Templar. The same way I made Bartz take the physical melee jobs, have Lena take the magical and supportive jobs, make Faris the ranged or utility based jobs, and made Galuf the tank and berserker, and eventually have Krile take the offensive magical jobs.
