I never rung these bells but I always thought this tower was an invite only. On the latest doves guide it doesn't seem to say it now.

They don’t hold a practice night, nor do they ring much for services or special occasions. The only ringing they really get is the occasional Wednesday evening quarter peal (which generally you do have to be invited into), or visiting bands. They are very welcoming to visiting bands, but you have to make sure you request the bells months in advance!

Taylor pre Simpson wasn't bad! You had rings such as Imperial College and St Paul's Cathedral which are not bad!
