My heart is comforted to think Jesus will be back soon. The last week a dear sister in Christ was taken home to glory and I just weep for her nine children she left behind. Since you didn't mention anymore about the nine children of the dear sister that was taken home, I just wonder has your or her congregation organised a tight scheme for the children's care, if their father is still around, with his approval and cooperation ? And our Lord also told us that same message, "From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, REPENT: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."(Matthew 4:17) It is a turning from sin and turning to God then salvation through His Son Jesus! Our previous state of mind has been reversed, I guess you could say back to Adam and Eve before they chose to defy God. Thank You, Jesus!

And that's why they did John 8:59 to Jesus; they picked up stones to kill Him because they understood what He (Jesus) had just said to them, that He is God. I AM is one of the names by which God calls Himself.

Read carefully the gospel of John, whose MAIN PURPOSE in writing was to show that JESUS IS GOD, and that believing you may have life in His name. John 20:31 Jesus said often, "I and My Father are one." He said, "He who has seen Me has seen the Father." John 14:9 Read Colossians, read Hebrews chapter one, and the first letter of John. It's very, very evident if you know what to look for. "The Word," is one title given to Jesus. "I AM," the name which God told Moses, Jesus used for Himself. John 8:58 Even the Old Testament - Isaiah 9:6, "For unto us a Son is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder. Go back and read John's gospel more carefully, looking for statements such as; "The Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD," and "Before Abraham was, I AM," and, "He who has SEEN ME has SEEN the FATHER," and 'Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because... @@mitchellc4 I have prayed for you, Mitchell. Jesus is God. He is not the Father. He is The Son. And He is the only way to the Father. Jesus Himself is Life. Jesus is Truth. No one can come to the Son unless the Father draws him. The Father is drawing you. He wants no one to die in their sin. It is a boost to the ego to be on the side of an issue that is controversial. Our pride enjoys being different and rocking the boat. But the Bible makes it clear who Jesus is. If Jesus is not God in the flesh, then there is no redemption for the sins of the world - your sins and my sins. And therefore there is no life after death in God's Kingdom, but a future of torment in hell. Please swallow your pride. Repent of your sins and call on the Name of The Lord. You will then be saved. If you are convinced that Jesus is not God, then make a sincere study of the Bible. Seek God with your entire heart. God has promised to make Himself real to you, including who Jesus Christ truly is. "He who has The Son has Life. He who has NOT The Son has NOT Life, but the wrath of God abides on Him." This subject is nothing to take lightly. Your soul depends on it.

Misunderstanding God's timetable is NOT a DOCTRINE, much less a doctrine of demons (devils). People have different interpretations of Revelation, obviously some are going to be wrong. (Or devils) A doctrine of demons is one that leads people AWAY FROM the GOSPEL and from pure devotion to Christ. Some false teachings -- that you need to work for your salvation; that since you are not under law but under grace it doesn't matter if you live in sin; that Jesus didn't physically rise from the dead, it was a spiritual resurrection -- THOSE are doctrines of demons, doctrines that AFFECT SALVATION. ESCHATOLOGY doesn't affect our salvation. We can be saved while being MISTAKEN about God's TIMETABLE. God made promises to Israel that He will keep, because He is not a liar, but is FAITHFUL to His WORD to perform it. Otherwise He would cease to be God. And if He doesn't keep His promises to Israel, He won't keep His promises to the church. The promises God made to Israel CANNOT be TRANSFERRED to the church. Read them and you will see - they don't apply to the church, they apply ONLY to the nation of Israel. They are not metaphorical, they are actual. 😊😊

So did the Apostles. Matthew 27:25, the Jews said, "His blood be on us and on our children." Peter preached to the Jews, Acts 2:23, "Him... you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death." Yes, the Romans were the agents, but it was the Jews who killed Him.

@Narrow Way To Life The Bible does talk about the Gentiles being PARTAKERS of the SPIRITUAL THINGS of Israel, but it's true that the church is NEVER REFERRED to AS spiritual Israel. We become heirs THROUGH FAITH in the SAME WAY that Abraham did THROUGH FAITH. But we are NOT Israel, spiritually or otherwise. We share in the BLESSINGS of SALVATION, not because we are joined with Israel BUT BECAUSE we are JOINED WITH CHRIST. Christians are the CHURCH. Whether they are Gentiles or Jews. It's FAITH in Jesus Christ that makes one a child of God and part of the bride of Christ. Israel will have to come to Christ to be saved. Jesus promised various rewards for those who faithfully serve Him on earth (Matthew 5:12; 1 Corinthians 3:14; Revelation 22:12). Some of those rewards are crowns (James 1:12; 1 Peter 5:4; Revelation 3:11). Those that receive crowns will throw their crowns at his feet and glorify him. Those who do not get crowns will have there rewards burned up but their lives are still with Jesus but they will feel much sorrow. Imagine standing their crown less and watching others bowing down and throwing their crowns at his feet. My reward is coming with Christ for I am certain.
