When you create a new site are you able to copy an existing site and them over or is it just like starting a new single site? EG: Some company has 12 locations so they want 12 sites that look identical but with their own information (address, contact, staff, etc.) Would I be able to create one using some theme and then create each new site using that as a "site template"? Right now I do that with single site. I copy the db and wp-content each time I need a new one.

Thanks for the vid. How many Multisites do you think is the max 'manageable' and what Pro services (for instance WPMU DEV) would you suggest to manage a large network of hundreds of multisite?

Is it possible for sites on a multisite to use their own unique domain names?

Would using multisite feature make the server lag and the website would take time to load on the visitors' end? I am asking cuz I need to manage multiple wordpress sites, and I installed 4 (individually not via using multisite) on my hosting account without a problem, but by installing the 7th, it became very slow and each website would take 20-30 seconds to load.
