The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam | Hotel Tour & Review | Jodd Fairs Market

The Berkeley Hotel in Pratunam is one of the cheapest 5-star hotels in Bangkok. Though it is more affordable compared to other 5-star hotels, it is very much liked by guests who booked in, like us 😊
We stayed in Bangkok for 4 nights & 5 days and we booked our premier room here at Berkeley Hotel. We booked a non-smoking room with 2 single beds & a city view.
What is special about the hotel?
1. The hotel and amenities are richly elegant and very cozy. Our Superb comfy room is big & clean.
2. Hotel amenities are as follows:
- Fitness Center (free access for guests)
- Free Parking
- 2 swimming pool area
- Spa
- Restaurant & Bar inside the hotel
- Breakfast buffet
3. Very accessible
- 7-eleven is downstairs just within the hotel premises
- 5 mins walk to Platinum Fashion Mall & Pratunam Market
- Palladium Market (& night market) is just within the hotel premises
- 6 mins walk to Central World & Big C Supercenter
- 5 mins walk to Pratunam-Canal Pier (just opposite the hotel)
- 450 m away from Siam Paragon & BTS Skytrain ((Siam Skytrain Station)
- 40 mins drive to Suvarnabhumi & Don Mueang International Airport
4. It has a complimentary shuttle van service for all guests available every day from 10:00am to 2:00pm and the drop-off points are BTS Chidlom, Erawan Shrine, Siam Paragon, BTS Siam, & Central World.
5. Hotel staffs are very friendly, accommodating, & nice. Our check-in process is very simple & they allow early check-ins, too!
I very much recommend this hotel for those who are planning to visit Bangkok especially families like us 😊

All in all, we had a great night & we were satisfied with all the Thai foods we ate especially the pork spine soup (volcano ribs) in Leng Zabb. Highly recommended restaurant in Jodd Fairs Market!

Isn't the deluxe room bed small for 4 people?

Hi 😊 We didn’t booked the deluxe room of Berkeley Hotel so I won’t be able to answer your question 😊 But for the premier room that we booked, with 2 single beds, is enough for us family (2 adults & 2 kids). The single bed is a bit wider than normal single beds so I believe 2 adults can fit on it. For more inquiries about their room you can contact this number [phone]. The staffs are very friendly 😊

Hi! Regarding your concern, since we don’t smoke, i would suggest you ask the hotel directly at this number [phone]. I called them once/twice and they are very accommodating 😊 Personally, I would prefer the Main Tower. Because most of the amenities are there and also if your room is in the main tower you won’t need to cross the bridge way anymore 😄

Hi Kate, thanks for a nice tour. I have 2 questions please. Request your kind guidance. 1) Is it advisable to stay in the north tower or the main tower ? Prices are little cheap for north tower and hence the question. 2) Is it true that a lot of rooms in the hotel does not even have a refrigerator ?

Hi! We didn’t sign up for the breakfast buffet during our time of stay at the Berkeley Hotel, but when we pass by the dining place in 11th floor (north tower) we saw the signage that the breakfast buffet was held there.
