The Berlage Keynotes: “Search Term: OMA NY” by Shohei Shigematsu

Shohei Shigematsu is a Partner at OMA, based out of the New York office. He has been a driving force behind many of OMA's projects, leading the firm's diverse portfolio in the Americas for the past decade. With an emphasis on maximum specificity and process-oriented design, Sho provides design leadership and direction across the company for projects from their conceptual onset to completed construction.
The Berlage Keynotes is an ongoing lecture series featuring internationally prominent architects, designers, and thinkers who are at the forefront of design discourse and innovation. A selection of speakers working from different disciplinary perspectives and in different geographic, cultural, and political contexts present how their work engages with contemporary issues and debates. This spring semester, speakers include Andrés Jaque, Dear Architects, Design, Bitches, Francesca Hughes, Shohei Shigematsu, Studio Folder, and Tomoaki Uno.
All lectures are viewable online at theberlage.nl and are open to the public at the Orange Room, Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, Delft.
