The rival mt10 is an awesome truck! For the money very little can compare! Apologies I'm sure the truck was £240 it's actually around £280 now which is a slight increase in price but still cheaper than the blx range and sketer 4s! If you had to pick which would you go for and why?

Associated have it nailed down with the MT-10, as well as the buggy, the shirt course and the drag car. Nothing really can compare at the price points.

The more popular this truck becomes, the more it goes up in price! Now it is more expensive than the granite! A pity looked good for 320dls now it comes out in 400dls!

Such a great value basher. I bought a MT10 and a FTX DR8 for pretty much the same price as what one Traxxas Maxx v2 costs. That's testament to both the great value of those two RCs and the obscene overpricing of Traxxas in the UK!

@@beyondRC Yep, and I didn't even mention the proprietary battery connectors Traxxas use whereby the customer has to either additionally purchase an obscenely overpriced Traxxas battery/batteries, use a cumbersome adaptor on an existing battery or change the connectors thereby voiding the warranty.

✌🏻😎🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 It’s good to actually hear you ask yourself the question I ask everyone but ask yourself why you should support a company like wltoys over a company in our own economies. Especially When it’s the cheap rubbish produced in mass for the cheapest price regardless of quality. A quality that fluctuates. When they don’t listen to the people that actually use them. Plus bangnotsogood is shady as hell. It’s not an rc specialist. It’s a new type of eBay????? Wltoys are having more & more of an impact on our hobby every day & our economies but NOBODY is talking about that are they. No because everyone is trying to make bank & becoming bangnotsogood affiliates. Pushing that stuff. Wltoys are costing more & more because everyone on KZbin is pushing them & bangnotsogood loves taking advantage of people. They do it all the time. They even time/synchronised price increases with video releases on KZbin. Even though there are KZbinr saying they are on a special discount with a special code 😂. What a freaking joke. Wltoys suck & Bangnotsogood sucks way more just because of how shady they are. If you want a quality product from that part of the world you should buy from Japanese not Chinese. I’m not being racist I’m just pointing out the fact that they make everything better than the Chinese. Better quality better QC but even that will sink our hobbies economies. Think about it. Everyone that buys from them are not supporting companies like Arrma Traxxas Team Associated. Without their brand loyalty they would go bye bye. Where would our hobby be then? We would have to buy that wltoys junk for sure then because we won’t have the option to buy from better more expensive brands/higher quality brands because they will be gone. Now ask yourself how many RC brands are already gone & why. Then ask yourself how many rc brands needed horizon hobby to bail them out by buying up the company so they also didn’t go bye bye. Now ask yourself are affiliates like you good for the hobby & it’s future.

Firstly thanks for sharing your views. Fully get where you are coming from but I think the thing we have to remember here is peoples budget. WLTOYS, HBX, Eachine etc are all great for people who are just starting out or kids looking at getting into the hobby at the more affordable end. Not everyone wants to spend a fortune on a 1st model which is where the cheap stuff comes in handy. Now if companies like Arrma, Traxxas, Losi released some more cheaper models then it may be a different story. I dont think places like banggood are to blame for companies being bought by horizon to save them. I think this is a case of lack of innovation, imagination and overpricing. Truth is people dont want to part with their money anymore and when they come across a place like banggood offering a 1/14 RC buggy for very cheap its extremely appealing to them. Either cheap or branded its getting people into the hobby which is the important thing here as I do feel if we dont continue to get the younger generation into the hobby it will slowly die off. Once people are hooked they usually start researching bigger, faster, more extreme models anyway. I know lots of people who started on a 144001 and now own traxxas, arrma + More! I support banggood as a lot of their stuff is fairly decent and definitely has its place in the RC world. Banggood were also the first to support me and my channel very early on and with their help the channel has grown way bigger than I thought it would and that has even allowed me to work with much bigger companies like Team Corally so i have a lot of respect for banggood and appreciate their help. People can make their own mind up about them as a company and cheap RC companies are here to stay and only growing bigger day by day. The big names need to drop prices and make more affordable entries for newbies. Cheers

I love your reviews of budget rc cars and have made purchases that were influenced by them. But I was surprised you describe the MT10 as cheap at over $300! Yikes! I bought the HBX 16689 and HBX 903 for under $200 total. A better title for this review would be “Not cheap but a great truck,” IMO

Hi Bernie that’s great that you take on board my opinions/suggestions and thanks for watching. 300 for a 3s machine of this calibre I would say is still pretty cheap compared to other trucks from traxxas and Arrma. Some 3s cars can go into the $500+ range!!!

I like the MT10 but I'm also pretty happy with my Maverick Quantum XT + Flux. Costs almost the same as the Associated, looks good, bashes like a charm and it's quite reliable (latest iteration has thicker arms and reinforced dogbones and cups). I have just bought an MT10 and I'm glad I went for it over the others. For the money (I paid 310 and it came with a basic charger and 3s battery - a Granite or a Sketer plus the battery and a charger would've cost north of £400) there was just nothing else that came close. It's great fun and as you said in the vid, really tough

So in 2024 do you still recommend this for bashing. I would get the MT10 v2 for 345euros. In the meantime is there something else out there for the same budget that's better ? Thanx for your thoughts

That is an amazing truck. But of you don't mind smaller size 16 scale that can run 30 mph, check out an IMEX I did a video series of one and it blew my mind how good and tough it is, and this is coming from an arrma owner. But the MT10 is on my shortlist of RC trucks to buy soon. BTW good video. I subed a while back. Nice work.

Wow it handles awesome I ended up with a vrx cobra 1/8 brushless and esc upgrade with battery and charger for $400 aus.. but this is what I wanted.. wondering if I should have spent the extra 200 and got this.. least I’ve got a good charger and decent 3s batteries when I get one of these

can't find it anywhere for less than 400 usd myself. That's way too much for a beginner basher, better to get something that's a bit cheaper to learn if you got the 'bug' or not. great vid thou

I think this the best second truck. So I have a FTX tracer, it's a simple basher. Non lipo, I want to upgrade, break and fix. Learn how it all works and when I'm ready I'll be buying this. Moving onto lipo, Bit faster but still not massively expensive

This truly is an amazing rig ! I absolutely love mine! I think IMO that it even overshadows it’s it’s bigger brother the MT-08 too. It’s a ton of fun and so very durable and beastly. I love the play area you are at ! Is that your new. Back yard?

I think this is such a great truck. Looks, performance, and price are right on point. The major issue with the Banggood /WLToys cars, is the horrendous cost of freight at the moment!! They tend to advertise with free shipping, but in reality, the cost should be taken as car and shipping in one!! I've been looking at an RGT crawler, but it's way over £300 at the moment, and I know it was just under £200, 2 years ago! If the companies who sell through model shops and online within the UK play their cards right, and don't price themselves out of the market, they can hit the Chinese imports hard. They also need to provide the parts support. That's looks like such a great place to run trucks. Great video, Ricky. 👍🏻

Off putting for a lot of people as no money is really being saved and for a little more a more well named brand can be had for very similar money! 😎👍

This is actually the rebranded helion avenge mt10 so all credit goes to helion. I love mine! I also have the redcat mt10 that I put a center diff in and both are probably my favorite 10th scales and both around 300$

Definitely the best 1/10 basher for the price, performance and durability. I've still broken bits on mine and had to replace the electronics and upgrade the servo but it's still going. The centre diff is a winner (I will never buy another 3s with a slipper clutch) and the drivetrain takes a beating. I've also got the SC10 pro4 and it's still ripping with a couple of upgrades. Team Associated got it right ✅️

I absolutely love mine. Easy to work on, not that you really need to because it just works day after day, diffs are bulletproof, shocks don't seem to leak.. and the plastic driveshafts still fuction perfectly after at least a hundred packs later. In about six months of bashing I've broken: -front arm, hit a ball of ice in the winter -radio throttle lever has slight issues -servo went boom Also modifiable to a longer wheelbase with a SC10 Pro4 chassis and center drive shaft, and most importantly, you can throw a Barbie Bentley RC body on it.

the mt10 is a little tank we have 2 and only broke one part and that was in a head on crash with an mt10, and I upgraded wheels and its even more of a beast even on 2s it'll wheelie for days, 3s it'll self right because of the extra wheel speed

I dont have a big rock but I have a Vorteks and granite! Very difficult to pick between this and the Arrma BLX range! All good trucks with minor differences but the mt10 is the cheapest option and ticks a lot of boxes. Touch choice

Personally have the Vorteks and much prefer the driving characteristics of the arrma. That and the mt 10 just keeps breaking...rarely a run without issues.

Had one,1st day steering servo stripped,they sent out replacement,3 rd run on 2 s lipo rear diffs stripped out!then they told me it only has 30 day warranty.had a big rock bashed it for a year in the snow etc,no problems with that truck plus I think Arrma has a 2 year warranty!
