Hi 👋 Great video! Where do you drop off your luggage? My wife thinks you can’t and we have to carry out with us during the layover

Nope!! It was amazing! Super easy to do - right when you walk out of departures, look to your right. Where you get the bus/taxi in the lobby, they have a whole place for luggage storage. You pay like $15 or so and they lock it up for you. HIGHLY suggest. Do not walk around with your bags, that’s crazy 😂

Heya! Local here, the fort from the 16th century and those blocks on the shore are called tetrapod and they are a a form of wave-dissipating concrete block used to prevent erosion caused by weather and longshore drift, primarily to enforce coastal structures such as seawalls and breakwaters.

Hi there! I will have an almost six hour layover in Ponta Delgada coming up. Do you think we will have enough time to leave and explore? The airport seems very small with nothing to do! Thank you!

Hey Shelby! YES you totally could. The bag watch rental was super cheap and easy. Also the car ride was only like 10/15 minutes. You’d be good :) have fun!
