Lovely ep, put a small 6volt fan in the fridge, and 4amp draw in hot weather that's normal for lots of upright fridges

Thank you 👍🏼 It’s definitely on the to-do list!

Good review of the fridge mate, two things to consider, the black canopy Doesn’t help with running a fridge, I couldn’t never keep a fridge cold in similar conditions when I had a black canopy on my Ute. Also, there are heaps or fan mods that people have made and sell for the 85l fridge to help circulate the air, it will probably help with the power draw too. Keep up the good videos mate! Enjoyed watching your visits up in shark Bay Area!

Thanks mate! Yeah the black canopy definitely doesn’t help, on a warm day there’s just no keeping that heat out. Yeah cheers for the recommendation on that. I have seen a vid on that fan mod, so probably something I’ll look to do in the near future. We’ll be back next week as we continue our travels along the coral coast towards Exmouth 👍🏼

A full fridge should be more efficient than an empty fridge , nothing to do with a fan . I’ve seen enough reviews on the Kings fridge that tell me they don’t work in hot weather. I find it bizarre that you’re “very happy” with a fridge that doesn’t work .

Yeah that’s a valid point…Appreciate it should help maintain the temperature better once the contents are cold. It’s not that the fridge doesn’t work entirely, but it has its down falls in very warm climates. It’s been great otherwise. Overall happy with the product for the price we paid for it. Had we opted for similar product on the market at a much larger price tag I don’t think I’d be saying the same thing though

How in hell do you recommend a fridge that doesn’t hold its temp??? Foolish and naive to say the least. Or paid promotion

Quite the assumption…We paid for the fridge. We’d recommend it overall because of its value for money and what you get for that in a fridge. That’s not to say it doesn’t have its downfalls. We don’t spend a lot of the year in the temperatures 35+ so it works perfectly for the most part and continues to do so to date. If you live in a climate that often experiences these temperatures or higher then it might not be right for you. If you use it for primarily drinks for example it doesn’t matter if the temperature fluctuates slightly so again depends on its uses.
