I want to thank you for creating this 3-day guide. It was a perfect foundation for planning a family trip in a location we had not previously explored. Your tips were great and especially appreciate the info on the permit for Tall Trees Grove. We enjoyed our hikes last week and are grateful to you!

Great content as usual. Really enjoyed all your videos. I would appreciate if you can include some details about road conditions, whether roads are drivable via 2 wheels drive.

Thank you so much! We never needed to use 4-wheel drive while we were on this trip. High clearance and off-road tires would be helpful, but you could get to these spots in a car if you take your time. Also, our blog has a lot more detailed info. The link for the blog is in the description.

To accomplish this trip, where do you recommend staying? Any particular city that makes these all an easy driving distance?
@LiveThatAdventure
@LiveThatAdventure Жыл бұрын
Hi, so Trinidad or Crescent City would be the two cities that book-end all of these activities. You can find more options and affordable lodging in these two cities. If you want something in the middle, then you'll have Orick, Berry Glenn or Klamath. Not as many lodging options in the middle. Trinidad is an adorable little town with many of things to do. We camped at Mill Creek campground but if we visited again, we might try to stay in Trinidad. I hope this helps you.

We shot this in early September. We camped at the Mill Creek campground. Since we were camping, we brought our own food and kept it in an ice chest. Hope this helps ☺️

It is $12.00 now fyi. and cash and or check only I believe. You have to reserve a permit but reserving the permit for the time is free. You pay when you get there.

Thank you for the video. The website indicates a Backcountry permit is required for overnight stays at the campsite. I'm having trouble finding the permit application and booking options for the campsite. Could you share links to book both?

Is it possible to a normal person send a petition to the state of California to live in the redwood national park? Do you know if theres a way or something like that
@LiveThatAdventure
@LiveThatAdventure 4 ай бұрын
according to Chatgpt: Redwood National and State Parks, located in northern California, encompass a vast area of protected redwood forests. While the parks offer camping facilities and various recreational opportunities, living permanently within the boundaries of the park is not allowed. The parks are managed by the National Park Service and the California Department of Parks and Recreation, and they have regulations in place to protect the natural environment and preserve it for future generations. These regulations typically prohibit permanent residency within the park boundaries. However, there are nearby communities where people live, and individuals can visit the parks for recreation, education, and appreciation of the natural beauty of the redwood forests. Additionally, there are park staff and researchers who may stay within the park for temporary periods as part of their work, but this is typically not considered permanent residency.
