Haggy should have been B or A tier people forget. Placed Top 3 with Prophecy at the first event which consisted of Ricky Legal and Fears and if you go back Haggy was the solo carry. Got Top 3 4 events in a row including Champs with that FaZe Red Squad Crazy run at S3 playoffs with Epsilon where they placed top 3 As well as having the highest SND KD in the league 3 seasons in a row

Tom/Gursh- you should do CoD quizzes! Sporcle has some cool CoD quizzes where you have to name every competitive player. I saw some cool ones where you get a picture of the player and you have to name them, and there where some throwbacks and hard ones. There are also quizzes where you have to name every player that went to champs or every player that played in the CDL that year, which is harder than it seems because you can forget a few names. I think this would be prime entertainment for the channel!

One of the few changes is to move karma to S. Mr. Do it all. Turned optic from the best team in the game into a Dynasty. He's clutch, smart, had pop off performances and could do it with every gun.

@@goober8465 Hell naw, Optic won the last event of the year. FaZe was on par and winning events but saying FaZe was just better towards the end is not true. You could argue Optic actually won Champs because they won the last event of the year where teams were the best that they ever were. The only argument against is the prize pool for Worlds doesn’t match Champs.

Huke was the most talented player in AW with Scump, he didn’t even play all the events but by the eye test you could clearly see he was a better player than ZooMaa

This list definitely has some problems. I just don’t see how you put Huke so high above while he didn’t win a single event. Also Crim is underrated as f in this list. I do agree that Clay is better than FormaL by a small margin. They’re both gross regardless and people acting like Clay over FormaL is blasphemy are crazy. Personally I’d knock Huke down in front of Slasher. Push Crim all the way up to bottom of S tier but I’d be okay with Top of A I guess(not really lol). I find it crazy that FaZe has 3 players in S tier while Optic who won 9/14 events of the year while placing at least T2 at 13/14 events has only two players. It literally makes no sense how Crim is in A. He should be in S. That Optic team goes in this order: Scump FormaL Crim Karma.

S tier is so hard because if you watched Aw all the way through you know how much this players flip flopped. Scump is undoubtedly #1 tho. Personally I’d put Formal over clay simply because Formal was S tier the whole season, Clay was only S tier when he got moved to Denial and Faze. But still W list Zooma I know it ain’t easy and you’re never going to please everyone. Keep up the content 🔥

A year late but Clay definitely had Formal’s, and all of Optic’s # for that matter. Beat them at Champs and then won the event, and then won 3 events on Faze which included a 4-0 series count vs Optic after they picked up Karma. Optic had more success as a whole throughout the year, but Optic could not beat that post champs version of Faze and Clay was the main reason why. I was a big OG fan at the time and that reverse sweep, losers bracket run that Faze had in which they beat OG in b2b best of 7s was when I had to admit that Clay was just better than Formal at that game. Optic was very lucky that Denial upset Faze at the last event of the year, and even Crimsix said so himself because similar to TK in WW2, Optic could not beat Faze no matter what they tried after champs.

The OG dynasty did exist in AW. Nade retired 1/3 into the year and they picked up karma and clay still won Champs. Also... the only person to 1v4 the OG dynasty in AW was Havok.

Respect to Tommy, but Clay just didn't have it over FormaL. Clay only performed to that level once he was on Denial, then fell off post-Champs. If Nade doesn't cost OpTic Champs we don't even have this conversation. FormaL literally won 9/14 events and was absolutely farming everyone, AR and SMG alike. Clay is definitely S tier but I have no idea where Tom is getting this from. Edit: Good lord chill out.

Top 5 players in AW were Scump, Clayster, Formal, Zoomaa, and Attach in that order. Clay > formal in aw easily tbh and Huke to round out S tier. Clay was straight up better. Way too many biased Optic fans. Stat for stat they are even and he brought more in snd and in comms. Also played way faster than formal which imo is way more valuable. Haggy should be in B as well i think and Crim was better than Karma in this game. Karma was S in IW but not AW. I really love how Zoomaa stands his ground and calls out biased fans. Love these videos though.

Formal won 9 events that year, Clay won 4. Was probably Formal’s best year for SnD, his sniping was actually insane in that game, & was the year he started working on his comms, by the end of the season/towards BO3 they were top tier. Clay was S tier but Formal’s consistency throughout the year puts him just above him for me

Clay peaked higher but was still incredibly consistent if you ignore his time on envy because nameless forced clay to run a sub/play hill. Clay also played way faster than formal which imo is more valuable than a playstyle like formal’s. Crim was the main igl for optic and while formal’s comms definitely improved, crim was the main guy directing that team. Clay was also mvp on the denial champs run with Jkap, Attach, and Replays and no offense to Kap and replays, but they were simply not on the same level as that optic roster. Ive also seen more pros side with Clay being better than formal at this game so i always take that into account considering they were actually playing with or against them. Definitely both S tier ar’s but i just think clay was ahead of formal by a bit.

Clay was not directing every teammate he had on the map, that is absolute cap. He directed the team a few times a map, that’s what igl’s do, Crim was doing the same for OG there was no need for Formal to. He may of played a little faster but not by much at all. OG were the dominant team throughout the first 3/4 of the game, if they’d of won Champs it wouldn’t of even been an argument that Formal was better throughout the year, one off event doesn’t change that for me.

Never said IW wasn’t his best game, just that his AW SnD is extremely underrated. Clay did not play way faster than formal and was literally dropped this year in part because of pacing, he was quite literally slowing the whole team down, idk why you’re making him out to be this ultra aggressive player when he’s really not. I’m taking formal over clay in any jet pack cod hands down, was on the most dominant team all 3 of those years, you don’t do that by playing slow like you’re suggesting
