The BEST AFK Skilling Method in OSRS? | Ironman from Scratch (#11)

There are some skilling methods and activities that are basically essential for an Ironman in OSRS. Today, we work towards unlocking one of the most important ones - birdhouse runs on Fossil Island. These will give us passive hunter xp as well as plenty of seeds, jewellery and birds nests. As usual, we also smash out a bunch of quests and achievement diary tasks along the way.

Hey everyone, welcome to my channel. I've been playing Old School Runescape for years and I'm looking for a new challenge...so I'm making an Ironman!
The goal is to do all kinds of skilling, PVM, bossing and collection log completionist content to experience more of the game and build the best maxed ironman that I can.

Started following from episode 1 as a guide. In the beginning it was more easy to follow this as a guide, now you're going to fast. It was really nice as i didn't need to rea the whole doc file.

looks like you're almost ready for that juicy slayer content! chorescape unlocked, misc & RFD soon, smashing the progress. hope you make an honest start at slayer, torso+bglove+etc! will you do green drags + wildy or ecto for overheads?

Yup, getting their bit by bit! Doesn't feel like chorescape just yet since I've only just got it but I'm sure I'll feel different after 100 runs haha. Not decided yet what I'll do to unlock overheads, that'll be a problem for the near future. Thanks for tuning in as usual Connor.

Also I’ve wanted to ask, do you recon doing tempoross was worth it? Im thinking I could push that 81 fishing and higher cooking before starting slayer

Thanks for tuning into the vids Tursturi, appreciate the kind words and support. I think Tempoross is worth it. In the reeaaalllly long run it's probably not necessary, but I think for early-mid game accounts it's a great way to build up resources for food, jewellery and some skilling supplies while still giving respectable fishing xp. If you want collection logs that's a bonus. I will probably bounce between Tempoross and barb fishing myself in the future.

Not flaming just curious, why does your screen flash red all the time? I feel like you explained before but I forget

It's from Runelite idle notifications (or sometimes low hp/prayer thresholds). I try turn it off for videos because I know it throws some people off but sometimes I forgot or I've had it on for another account and forget to swap over. I find it to be a really useful feature when playing normally, but ye can get annoying randomly flashing in a video haha.

The combat level message is new. They just added it in the last month or so. You aren't crazy. Well... No crazier than any other person who starts an iron 😂

Haha, birds of a feather and all that! Thanks mate, I'm glad you're enjoying it. There seems to be a new snowflake iron series pop up every couple of days. I do enjoy them myself, but there's so many! It's tempting to have a crack at making one myself but I think there's space for a normal iron series like this for now. Most of the Iron content creators are so far progressed but the early-mid game is a lot different to what it was a few years ago. End of the day it's about having fun anyway, and having never played ironman before I'm enjoying it quite a bit!
