I've used a similar thread catcher as the Baby Lock and it was useless. I was able to buy a pink thread catcher but unfortunately I can't remember from where.

I was at the stitch show last wk and I was able to buy a plastic scrap bin for my enspire from the babylock stand , they come in different colours, l got a gold colour one for £25, it clips on by there's a hole on the side which the bottom dial , it could have done with a clip underneath as well but it works better than the tray and the bag

Interesting. I have a brother lock 3034dwt that I really like so far (especially for the price), but will replace with a Juki or Babylock if it ever stops working properly.

I am so so glad l didn't get the brother airflow, l bought a babylock enspire for £849 , the shop had 2 left at that price , l do find the needle threader a little hit and miss but l can thread it manually as well alot easier than the brother 1034d, felt l had to be a contortionist to use a needle threader . I got my babylock enspire threaded in less than 15 mins compared to about an hour with the brother , l haven't used the rolled hem as yet but I am so grateful l used a babylock in workshop , fell in love with the machine, won't go back

@AbisDen yeah it is a shame , l have to sew in the living room and hubby found the brother very loud compared to the babylock , it's a shame there's no feet with the machine, the set is £160 , still considering wherever to buy them or not

how is the tension system in comparison un Brother? Is easier to setup?

Oh - absolutely. The tension on the brother is appalling simply because of how cheaply they manufacture their machines. So much cheap Plastic inside which distorts and degrades very quickly and easily which is why their tension fails easily.

Brilliant video Abi - i love Babylock and Juki machines, they're so worth it for that bit extra price, Elaine --- also the Brother ones sound clunky

Baby lock louder on this end. I would choose the Baby lock after your excellent review.

It is noisier machine, but by not much.
