@@thehien115 I can't believe I actually typed that. Must have got a stroke or something. They got license to produce Mega Drive/Genesis consoles, but their emulation quality is on the same level as the early Chinese knock-offs. Yes, Sega gave them a license, but they're rubbish nevertheless.

I've read on some Russian forum you can replace 2 resistors inside to tame down the 8-bit layer of audio which is way too loud. I tried this and it became better but now some sounds are too silent... We can't have nice things for this price I guess xD Also, the AV output has left channel on both audio plugs - I repaired it by cutting traces and wiring the correct signals to the outputs... Also despite the region select, I think it works in NTSC only anyways. Some European games won't boot saying they require PAL or SECAM. I can't say it's a perfect device, definitely. And the AliExpress offer now says the console doesn't support saves. So that explains missing saves. :]

@@yadabub Technically, if you measure continuity between left and right output, it's mono for sure but I'd check with a game because Chinese stuff is unpredictable xD

A lot of these clones do not support the shadow/highlight mode. You can test this using Mortal Kombat 1. If the character shadows are missing, then it does not support it.

Here's a tip that might work. When you boot up a system and see that green screen you had on the video, try turning it off and wait a few seconds to turn it on again. I know this because that's what happens with my super console x king. Once I turn it back on a second time, everything is ok.

Genesis Emulator, sound is slightly off. Yup that is to be expected. Its funny cause the timing issue with the mhz setting or something that causes this was figured out like 10 years ago and its got a simple fix, yet no one ever actually does it.

That one I'm about to send back to the shop, because of the bad sound quality. For those who played a lot the original SEGA console or a good emulator, it's strange tho rear the audio of this chinese clone version. I say that this one fit only for those who don't care about sound quality.

If you connect the console with the AV cable to a CRT tv, a light gun should work. With HDMI output and a modern LCD tv won't work.
