Holly smokes that new Alien dog piece looks sick. Love the pose and sculpt of it. That is one review I am looking forward seeing. In all honesty...I love all those statues, I like the alien and predator universe more than anything, from my childhood, great list Mr X .... on a different matter, I'm from UK, my heart goes out to everyone and their families who are affected with the fires in LA 🙏...I hope everything gets sorted and everyone is safe 🙏👍

My personal favorites for Alien and Predator statues are. Prime1 Dog Alien, Sideshow Wolf Predator, Prime1 Jungle Hunter dio and the OG Alien Warrior bust.

I have the two Prime 1 Alien³ dog and Wall Big Chap ( I will get the dog XL) I dont like the statues not from the films...but the original grails are still the sideshow pieces. All the OG Alien³ pieces from sideshow...the queen face hugger, the queen embryo. The sideshow original ALIENS life-size bust. The 1/4 QUEEN bust from sideshow. The cinemaquette big chap is a grail for many because of what it meant at the time. I dont really include predator and Alien together. All we need is Prime1 to really do a xl big chap. I think if they can do the crouching pose or a stepping down pose. Or a hidden in the wall design. It would be gold.

Oh wow, I wasn’t expecting your number 1, it’s a statue I wouldn’t be interested in. My favourite Predator statue is one you didn’t mention, and I can’t remember who makes it, it’s the statue of Wolf Predator, the one where he’s jumping. That looks amazing, I also like that one I think is called “Tusk Predator”, or “Broken Tusk”, I think that’s what it’s called. It’s the one where he’s jumping forward, that looks so cool.

I think the P1 Jungle Predator and custom Queen Alien are the best. I like dioramas like the one at 29s but the Aliens seem to always either directly kill or capture rather than do body wounds like a bite. I liked the Batman/Predator comic runs growing up and it would be cool if they expanded that with the current stuff like Spidey/Predator.

really looking forward to the alien dog review and the scar predator review! my first statue was a very old alien vs predator diorama by Palisades Entertainment...it came out back in 2006 but i think i got it in 2012 or 2013

Hey buddy---For me, the best Alien and Predator reside with the same company: Cinemaquette. It could just be nostalgia but I love both the 1/3 predator (which I own) and the 1/3 HR Giger Alien--hope to snag a good condition one at some point. all the best.

Prime 1 are ahead of the game for Alien and Predator statues. I really like the old sideshow mythos Alien, but it was not movie accurate or even the correct color, more of an artist's interpretation of the xenomorph. I guess I have to say my absolute favorite are the ones I own lol (prime 1 alien warrior and hunter predator).

Unfortunately, the only Prime 1 Alien statue I've been able to afford so far is just the open Alien egg lol, but definitely hoping to grab one at some point this year. Was able to grab the XM Studio Black Hive Alien for 1,350 shipping and all. It's a start! Edit: How do you go about getting rid of your statues? You mentioned getting rid of some Marvel..

Best ALIEN statue easily goes to the Mamegyorai Giger Alien (the only true alien). It's in the iconic hunched bent pose it took on before attacking Brett and again standing in front of the shuttle bay doors, halting Ripley's escape. Statue is a 1/3 copy of Marmits B Type statue originally released in '96 and again in '04 for ALIENS 25th Anniversary. Otherwise I'd give it to Prime 1's Giger Alien. Which is a direct lift of KotoBukiya's 1/10 Giger Alien released in 2016. Both sculpted by Yuji Oniki I think.Few statues capture the graceful and direct movements of Gigers Alien. These statues do. I hate Alien Resurrection . And I think the way they turned the alien into a space velociraptor completely ruined the creature. But theres something about the Fewture Models New Warrior kit/statue that makes it look not to bad. Must be the sculpting by the great Takayuki Takeya. It's 1/6 scale. Hated Alien3 and that wrestling version of the creature as well. But the Prime 1 Dog Burster statue you own is quite amazing. Own that and you don't ever need another dog burster statue. Predators ...Prime 1 City Hunter is freaking amazing. This is my favourite version of the Predator (except the goofy eyes) and this statue is nothing short of insane...''but you know what I think...shit 'appens''... In Oz this statue costs $4000 so I have to pass unfortunately....''I don't know who he is...but I know where he is...da udder side!...you can't see da eyes of da demon till him come calling...dis is dread mon...truly dread''... Prime 1 Classic Predator (Jungle Hunter). Statue speaks for itself. Lastly Bilikins vinyl Predator kit released in '91. First predator kit ever made. Can still remember finally kitting a predator model after seen the movie in '87.

So many cool Predator statues, the only statue on the list I don’t like is the one from Prey, I hate the design of that Predator more than anything else, it’s absolutely terrible & looks nothing like a Predator.

No love for any of the old great Sideshow pieces(back when they made good stuff)? Their life size Aliens/Pred busts still haven't been topped. That Coolprops bust is no comparison to their old Aliens bust. Life size Queen facehugger is still a top piece also. I also like their life size egg from AvP, though not a top 15 piece for me. Probably others I am forgetting. They also did a lot of nice smaller pieces, though I wouldn't call them "best". I had all 8 of their 1/5 Aliens and Preds and their AvP diorama(sold them all years ago when I got into larger pieces). The Preds were not all great, but the Aliens were. Their 1/3 line with 3 Aliens and Wolf Pred was also pretty good, they were the best save for Cinemaquette till P1 came along.

Great fu**in clip. Just a bit sad to see the the collection go in this direction as I find Alien/Predator statues boring. I mean don’t get me wrong. One good representation of each is awesome. They are visually appealing. But the designs across the board are quite similar, and imho that creates a bland look overall. I’d like to see you sell most of these. 😂
