One thing I noticed while tinkering with this build, if you equip Ember of Mercy (Picking up a fire sprite grants restoration) and you pick up a fire sprite while Restoration is active, it resets restoration and sets it at 3 seconds. If you already have restoration active, say it's at 10 seconds and you pick up a fire sprite, it'll drop your restoration up time down to 3 seconds. Just a little tip to help people out

The same happens with titans and sunspots. Anything that gives restoration besides kills will reset your time

Yeah that bug has been around for ages. For reliable Restoration on Gunslinger it's best to just run Healing Grenade. I mix Healing Grenade with GPG to get the best of both worlds in the grenade slot, and after a few months I almost never throw GPG at my feet anymore!

Using ember of Benevolence (+400% boost to grenade/melee/dodge regen for 6 seconds whenever you grant radiant/restoration/cure to allies) is really strong. You can use an Adhortative with Heal Clip/Incandescent and basically keep Benevolence procced nonstop, since heal clip grants cure to yourself AND to allies. If you're also using healing nades and radiant melee attacks, then pretty much everything you do will keep that +400% ability regen buff active🤘

I love ember of benevolence, but I hate that it relies on allies. If if had a bonus when solo (maybe 50% boost when activated only on yourself) then I’d include. Seeing as a I play half my time solo, I value builds that excel in the solo and team setting and not having to change out perks or fragments

I wish Gunpowder Gamble didn't override your normal grenade. So many times, I've thrown the explosive at my own feet when I actually wanted to throw a healing grenade. It would be nice if you had to hold the grenade button to throw the explosive, so you can still use your normal gredade while the explosive is available

I just wish there would be another option for the grenade like let it stay how it is but give a option to manually change it to when u wanna throw it. Hate it when i wanna heal myself but i throw a nuke at my feet

On top of that they look kinda similar and if you NEED to use the healing nade, chances are things are hectic, you look to see if you have a charge, you do, and then you hit the button only to instantly realize the error of your ways haha.

Yeah I just commented about this as well lol. Bungie should make it so that you have to hold the grenade button in order to throw the explosive, so you can still tap it for your normal grenade.

Yeah.....I tried this build. Either Celestial is bugged or kinetic is bugged or your build falls flat. I'm being capped out at 811k damage with Nighthawk. One/two/ three kinetic surges doesn't make a difference. There's something wrong with GG and CN. Kinetic surges are bugged. I took all of them off and still did 811k.

Ember of empyrean, solar kills extend restoration. Pop the healing grenade then keep killing with solar

You get less value by going to the next level. Ex: level 3 gives a 20% boost, but level 4 only gives a 10% boost

Why not switch at least one of your solar mods to kinetic. The game codes The Golden Gun as kinetic mod not solar and with the Celestial Nighthawk why not give that single shot some added power. If there a reason not to use the mod please let me know. I'm always looking for a better setup for my solar hunter

For the most damage output, you want 3 solar for regular play and your heavy, so you can have a separate pair of legs with kinetic to hot swap for your golden gun. If you don’t want to hotswap, 1 kinetic and 2 solar is your best bet 👍

I promise you pve hunter mains DO NOT care about mobility 😂 they’re so many different aspects and fragments too get your class ability back that mobility is literally useless

I've seen way too many hunters in LFGs with 70+ mobility and not have 100 resilience. Hence why I said not to go for mobility
