Wouldn’t consider the Corvette a supercar. Extremely impressive sportscar? Yes. I think In terms of what a “supercar” is the Ford GT and 5th Gen viper fit that definition better than a corvette. Just my opinion though all 3 of those cars are some of the greatest machines ever built.

Yea perfect response, I do love corvettes just not in the Supercar category. And as the Ford GT may represent the American Supercar better in terms of heritage and racking history, I just love the V10 side exhaust combo on the viper since it began production.

@@SoCalExotics I agree the history and lineage behind the ford gt is very significant, and not to mention how exclusive the Ford GT has become in modern times. It’s the definition of a supercar. I’m a huge viper enthusiast but I think it can be argued the Gen 1-4 were on the brink of be a supercar, but also a high end sports car. But I truly believe the 5th Gen platform for Viper checks all the boxes for being an actual “supercar”. It was hand built, beautiful sleek design, completely redone upholstery in the interior, and not to mention the exclusivity. The viper also has a rich racing history similar to the Ford GT’s. The corvette at the end of the day is still a “mass produced car” so it’s hard to call that a supercar in my books.
