THE BEST AND BIGGEST BUILDING IN TOKYO FOR ANIME FIGURES AND TRADING CARDS

In this video, we are heading to THE BEST SHOPS to find anime figurines and trading cards in Tokyo. The stores are inside a massive building of 10 floors called ‘’Akihabara Radio-Kaikan’’. It is by far the best building to find figurines, trading cards, anime, video games and many others. The shops’ location is super convenient as they are 30 seconds walking distance from Akihabara station. It is perfect for people staying in Tokyo for a couple days and don’t have time to look for cheap figurines and trading cards in stores like ‘’Book Off’’ or ‘’Hard Off’’.
I would recommend heading to the 4th floor if you are looking to buy figurines. And If you want to buy Japanese trading cards like Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic The Gathering, Baseball cards, Japanese idols and others, you should go up to the 6th floor.
This building definitely has everything you are looking for and more.

Man those prices are really reasonable and probably authentic too, i cant even get them at those kind of prices here in USA they're usually always above 30 dollars....and the really good ones are like 50 and above....

Bit of a basic question but, what’s the process of buying the figures on display? Do you need to find a worker to open the display case? Or can you just open it yourself and grab whichever one you want?

You'd need to ask one of the staff to open the display case as they are locked. You just tell them you want to check a figure and they will put it in a box for you if you want to buy it.

Just went two months ago, they usually have numbers some have no box. They give you a little notepad and you fill out the ones you want, you take it to the counter and they will pull it for you. but akihibara is kind of a rip off it’s pretty controlled with the price of figures for the bigger stores I recommend going to more rural areas for better prices

I made friends with a store owner and now I purchase directly from Him and sell here in California. He has the best price but you have to take a bullet train obv

Thank you very much as always! :) Yes, ebay is the biggest platform to sell items in my opinion. You can make some profits, but you really need to look at the shipping cost and make sure you describe as well as possible the item you are selling and put a lot of pictures so it takes a lot of work. I don't do it often as my main job is modeling.

And he always tells me that you never know what the future holds in store for you. And he is absolutely right! And thanks for the kind reply! Loved this video. There is so much stuff in the building that if I was in there I wouldn’t know where to start. Lol 😅And Yeah Matt I do wish that I could hop on a plan and come to Japan too. One other thing that i wanted to point out and say is that It’s always been a dream of mine to come and visit another country like Japan. But the biggest problem is I know that plan tickets are’t cheap. And I can tell you this much. You might even go broke by just buying the tickets! lol. So anyway one of the many things is I just wished is that the U.S had stores like this one. I do know and understand that there are probably a handful of anime themed stores across the U.S country side. But apparently I’m not %100 sure if they are that good like the stores in Japan. Because honestly I have never been to any really big or major stores. Except for this one place that is near my friends house that is really nice. I brought my first three figures there and I was really happy with my first few purchases. And they definitely wasn’t going to be the last. But anyway I just wanted to say thanks for the nice reply! :)

Because it's Tokyo, does it mean the prices for everything might be higher than other regions in Japan or it's all the same in any place in Japan? I mean, it's hard to know, but I have to ask in which region we could/should find the most cheapests figures around there?

For these types of stores, the prices are the same. The best is to go to the second hand shops like ''Hard Off'' and ''Sugura-ya''. They have a lot of quality figures at a cheaper price. However, this store in Akihabara is the best when it comes to choices.
