From what i've seen it is a very faithful adaptation, with very little difference from the manga. I would say just enjoy the show, it feels nicer to enjoy the anime without spoilers. The manga is more polished than the light novel is what i would say, and the anime and manga are pretty much the same in quality.

Actually the “I’ve been reincarnated into my favorite otome game” is quite common in isekai manga and light novels but it’s fairly new to being adapted to anime. Though I will say, I think this specific one is actually one of the better ones.

I don't think Netflix understand anime very well. Why on earth do they think it's a good idea to withhold international releases until months after the initial release? Have they heard of simulcasting? Is it just some strange right of passage testing their users willpower to see if they cave to the temptation of illegal downloads? I just use Netflix cause. Netlfix may own the rights to the series, but it's currently not legally available. And because it's not currently available legally, I have the right to use other means to watch it until the legal option becomes available. When it does, I only watch it through that legal method. And I usually always immediately rewatch shows upon legal release (usually dubbed) to support them

Nah, Netflix has this weird thing where they insist on only releasing things after the full season has completely aired, and sometimes even waiting months after that before putting it up. (See things like When calls the heart, miraculous ladybug, etc. ) I think it's to encourage binge watching, but when cable channels are making it "free" to watch the latest 4 episodes, and there are plenty of illegal sources to pick up the slack, Netflix is only driving people away with this strategy, because it only works with stuff they produce in house.

Now I am somewhere in the middle of season 2 and boy I just can't stop reading. ​@Loli4lyf The whole point of Tower of God's MC is that he's not edgy. Some pretty terrible shit happens to him, but he never stops being a cinnamon roll simp. He does look pretty bland, but he's sort of also unique in the sens that he's the first good-looking protagonist to actually have his good looks canonically acknowledged by other characters in the story. You know that annoying in anime where the MC would constantly be described as "bland" looking, despite having spiky green hair and being a solid 10? (Looking at you Deku) Well, this series actually acknowledges this trope and being good looking is like the MC's main ability in the beginning of the series.

I’d love it if you did a retrospective on the previous season sometimes. I totally understand why reviewing these shows at the beginning makes sense, but many shows go from good to bad or bad to good over the course of a season, and reviews of a few shows in their entirety would be super useful as well. Additionally, you would be able to cover shows you missed (Keep your hands off Eizoken) and shows released in blocks (Beastars). Also, almost none of these appeal to me compared to last season where almost all the shows you covered were right down the alley.

Sing Yesterday for Me reminds me a lot of Welcome to the NHK. Maybe its the tone, maybe its the almost crushingly realistic way it tells its story or the mid-thousands grimy aesthetic that is starting to feel a bit nostalgic to me. well yeah, one series comes along and does something new, and then quickly a bunch of others start to copy it. This happens fast enough that there will be plenty of copycats by the time the first series in the genre get adaptations, and this is one of the original ones.

There is one I can't remember the name about a character that is portrait as the female antagonist and is she's fat but she knows that her character is in a death end so trying to change her future is taken more serious, there even was a manga but It had more comedy. There are older ones so, this series its not even that's fresh in how it handles everything.

I'm surprised that there aren't more! There are a few manga that have done this, mainly putting the 'isekaied' character into the villaness' role (likely trying to subvert the common isekai trope). There has been one manga that puts its male character as a MOB Who has the dual advantage of knowledge from the game and knowledge from a side perspective.

Except that isn't truly the original one as it was made for the English dub. Which by no means takes away the nostalgic value it has for a lot of western fans. I'm just saying, it's not the original.
