Hi Anthony. I do like this idea and bracket looks strong, though I was looking for a bracket to mount in front of the side mirror somehow on my 120 Prado. Maybe the legends at Kaon could make one similar but angle to outside of vehicle as well? just a thought as I'm thinking stubby Uniden antenna to keep signal behind vehicle and reduce the amount of antenna in view for passenger! Also what was the angle of bracket in regard to the windscreen? ie would the antenna clear when bonnet in open position. 👍 Cheers

Anthony, I have the Kaon rear aerial bracket and it works a treat. Replaced another brand of rear aerial and light holder that was far too heavy, over engineered, which over time caused internal damage to the Toyota Door. If this was around at the time I would have given it serious thought to reduce the rear door weight. To complete your sales pitch, why didn't you do a temporary aerial fit-up? This would show the clearance under the bracket and to the Windscreen when the Bonnet is open. I have suggested Kaon products to several of my mates and all are very happy with the quality.

Hi Anthony, is there much of a gap at the back of the bonnet and where the bracket kicks up ?? No chance of bracket hitting or vibrating against the bonnet ?
