I got the metapen, it was on sale for about 15 € and the only downside is that the light on the tail end is a bit bright if used in the dark. So I just put a piece of gaffer’s tape over the end. otherwise it‘s as close to perfect as it gets with 3rd party pencil alternatives, it paired with no issues, charges wirelessly, battery holds up many hours, no noticable lag with my ipad air 5, it has tilt detection and for note taking it‘s absolutely fantastic. the only thing it doesn‘t have is double tap and pressure sensitivity, which is the same with all apple pencil knock-offs. I use it every day for several hours. still I will eventually get the original apple pencil, because the stylus experience with the ipad is actually so brilliant, that I will sell my wacom drawing tablet and just do everything on the ipad, but then I need pressure sensitivity. the double tap seems to be relatively useless compared to the great features you get with the several buttons and a wacom stylus.
