Clown legion, arena goons, might be the direction to look for how to do that. Some of the arena players can get 10 conversions going at once on control groups. Those guys are the kings of monk play.

Wouldn't the Celt eco bonus put them above the Goth's? It's obviously useless against civs with better overall balance,but Celts can use Woads and Scorpions to counter Huskarls and Champions, while the same Goth late game can't defend against Woad raids, since they usually rely on halbs. There should be a point where the Celts just punch through with their infantry and siege, not just halb onager, and the only answer for Goth's to Celt scorpions and Woad Raider's in their base is to resign. This is obviously speaking very generally, I'm not saying I'd beat Hera as Goths using Celts.

Well to be fair goth knights get full upgrades in Castle Age, so they're pretty viable still at that point, while Celts cav is already starting to go downhill.

Bohemians have the lowest win rate in the game on Arabia at 1200+. Very slow awkward and predictable options to go for. UU is super weak. Even Celts have an all in strat that wins them a decent amount of games

Stats mean jack shit. Noobs see charts like this and they all play Chinese. Yet they have no idea how to play Chinese and they get stomped so win rates are lower. Therefore, noone should ever consider win-rates... with perhaps exception for 2000+ elo players.

seeing civ stats can be done by anyone (ie. sotl does a lot of it in his vids since he isnt a high elo player and thats kinda his thing), but especially with stats at the high level they are kinda meaningless due to the small sample size. Aoe2 already has low playerbase, and thus low games, especially at higher elos.

For anyone not pro I think Berbers are great but for the high levels of play they do not have the greatest unit options and the one unit that is great needs great economy (which the Berbers do not have) to be even considered and even then it's difficult because it's a castle unit. The knights are the predictable route and could be exploited very easily

Do not understand why slaves are so low. I notice in every game the farm bonus that directly affects the fully upgraded hussars. Then they have cheaper castles due to the one tech, cheaper Siege units and at the latest in the Imperial they are unstoppable. I don't understand why the Portuguese are on S either. I have the feeling that Hera still plays the Slavs like before, when they had Orthodoxy. I rarely see hussars in his Slav games.

You don't have to. Goth have a good to ok identity in team games so to make them better in 1v1 might make then broken there. Idk about celts. Hong beats so many top players with that civ so it's just hard to balance. Slavs need a rework, the farm bonus is worse than khmer, poles etc.

I think a lot of people are sleeping on the Persian TC potential. Their increased HP means you can make them as pseudo Kreposts and can force map control with them in castle age. You don't always have to be producing from them, but having a TC in a clutch spot that is much harder to raid than other civs can be very strong.

problem is that you need to garrison 10 vills inside to get its max damage. so in total you've invested 875 resources + 200 resources for every 1 minute the tc is garrisoned. I think it could be good with knights + siege vs archer civ, but it would be very situational.

I don't think nerfed Hindustanis are going to be S tier. Just 2 food discount in dark age and 5 food in feudal age won't be enough to overcome their lack of knights while playing against other S-tier civs.

Bohemians still have the cheap Blacksmith in feudal age, and the chemistry xbow does really well against knight civs or skirms. Their eco gets stronger and less volnerable with the monestary techs and the have one of the strongest deathballs in imperial, along with the timing of instant Bombard cannons. I think they should be between Malay and Magyars, something like that

Can you make a video for what you think the top 10 troop combination is in general. I know everything has counters, but what troop combination would be the strongest combination to use. Don’t take into account the resources required to produce the troops. Say for like late game team game when you have a strong economy with a good amount of trade going on. Cheers for the missionary love from Hera. The big downside to conqs is skirmishers (although they can run away) adding in some missionaries to your conqs will allow you to convert skirmishers and take them away. Start making conqs so the enemy goes skirmishers, then add the missionaries to convert the skirmishers. With bloodlines and sanctity it takes many skirmisher shots to take down a donk. Even better you can walk off with the converted skirmishers as they only do 1 pt of damage to themselves. The donk are fast enough to just retreat after convIersions or move back and heal the conqs to finish off the skirmishers. I would love to see you try this Hera.
