Oof. This deck was rough. The mana was super slow and had pretty much no interaction until turn 4 in most games.

@@daaper sorry about that... the dream is to play an assembly worker or a 2/2 vigilance knight on turn 2 and give it an etali favor on 3. You can make the mana faster by removing the surveil land but it's a 3 color deck so it might be worse.

In the Atraxa game, I would have blown up their binding, get back Urza, and run back the Urza transform again. I know it feels bad to have it disrupted once, but if they couldn't stop it again I think you could win from there.

You can do that, but something tells me that they wouldn't have let you keep Urza. They would have cast binding in response to you transforming.

Not running a single helm of the world walker in this deck is a crime. Turn 3 simulacrum snythesizer, turn 4 Three steps ahead on simulacrum synthesizer, turn 5,6,7,8,9: worldwalker helm -> copy simulacrum synth token.

Cut the current non-artifact creatures add in 4 staunch crewmate. Add more Urza (2-3 total) Cut the spring blades Add Urza’s command (2-3 total) 2 smithy’s not 1 Add some combat threshers (2 total) 1 platoon dispenser Much funner / better version of the deck and all legal in new standard

37:58 punted hard here - had enough mana to get lost and meld Urza - could have minus to kill Atraxa and plus to make two tokens - even when he hits binding off of Etali he can hit the Urza but you have two blockers and the game goes on. Nice fail CGB

I understand you're upset in those situations, but if the deck is busted and variance worked against you, why bother expending the energy to get angry at your opponent? Your losing in these scenarios doesn't make you a bad player, so why attack players who choose to play these decks? For all you know, someone playing this deck is fairly new and invested all of their wildcards into building it and that's what they rely on to rank up. Your opponent isn't necessarily out to get you, or make you feel bad. We tend to assume the worst of our opponents, and that's what really makes the community toxic. Do I like it when I get roflstomped on turn 3? Hell no, but I accept that it can happen (especially at the beginning of the month) and move on. I hope you have a better rest of your day.
