Man if the price point wasn't out of my budget I'd like to try that one. It would definitely look sweet in my six gill reel arsenal lol and I think that one may help me get the skipping down without huge backlashes lol

If you’re looking for a more budget friendly reel that will help reduce backlashes and make skipping easier, definitely check out the Cyclone. It uses a similar breaking system as the Hamarr!

@@SixGillFishing I have three cyclones lol all backlash just a touch when I try to skip. Maybe I need the newer updated cyclone I seen on the site. Mine are just the cyclone in list on the site.

Sixgill used to make the Hyperion, which is what I bought years ago. The Hyperion is gone. Is the Hamarr a newer version, its replacement or simply its own reel? Wahi' Valleys

The Hamarr is its own reel but has the similar low profile shape that the Hyperion did. The Hamarr breaking system is more refined and allows you to cast further while reducing backlashes.
