Do you think that the people who say grape seed oil is bad for their beard just tried the wrong quality of product?
@thecleaningmaniacmanatandr5987 Жыл бұрын
@BeardBladesandhair Very good and interesting question, infact according to what I found as info (beardresource) grapeseed oil is very good very beneficial for the beard but the problem being that this oil is rich in polyunsaturated fat (problem with that when it is in contact with light, heat and oxygen it go rancid) to prevent that it is better to use it always mixed with other carrier oils such like jojoba and a few drops of vitamin E (5 or 10 drops per oz of carrier oil) to prevent it from going rancid and so that it is well balanced and to preserve the final product. Even if jojoba is rich in vitamin e but a few drop of vitamin E oil is gonna really makes an extra difference. Same thing for sweet almond oil, sunflower oil, safflower, canola oil, pumpkin seed oil, they are so rich in polyunsaturated fat that it is not recommended to use them unless it is mixed with vitamin E and jojoba oil.

@truenorthbeardco I will try your oil when I get paid soon: I really like Ingredients in your oils: Shea Nut Oil, Fractionated Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Argan Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Avocado Oil, Cold Pressed Grape Seed Oil, Fragrance Blend, Vitamin E, (expect maybe sweet almond and grape seed oil but as you added vitamin E and jojoba in it that is totally fine),

@@BeardsBladesandHairAccording to Dan C and Dr Nick, it does make a difference. Nick said he found big differences between cold pressed grapeseed oil vs regular grapeseed oil so he started using cold pressed recently.

Very informative video 👍 you have very good eloquence. Mountaineer is a very good company, I'll tell you my secret: I add 10 drops of vitamin E oil to my bottle of mountaineer beard oil. Vitamin E prevents oxidation because the grapeseed oil in it is very rich in polyunsaturated fat acids. Preserves the beard product. Also so many benefits of vitamin E oil for the beard. Ps: I don't like the following ingredients for the beard: Grapeseed oil, sweet almond oil, canola, sunflower oil, safflower. Cause they are rich in polyunsaturated fat acids and go rancid when in contact with oxygen, light and heat . (The beard has all three). For this, if your product contains these ingredients, there is no need to panic, add a few drops of vitamin E to prevent it going rancid. But otherwise avoid these ingredients in general. Regarding the essential oils that I strongly not advising for the beard: Tea tree, Eucalyptus, Lavender. Very bad for our testosterone, and so many other dangers. According to scientific studies. My favorite non comodogenic ingredients for the beard: Meadowfoam seed oil, Jojoba oil, Squalane sugar cane oil, Argan oil, Peppermint essential oil, spruce essential oil, sandalwood essential oil, patchouli essential oil, cypress essential oil, ylang ylang essential oil. Best boosters for beard growth: peppermint essential oil, cypress essential oil. Added them with carrier oils such jojoba, argan, squalane, meadofoam seed oil is very good. With a few drops of vitamin E (10 drops per oz of carrier oil.)

@BeardsBladesandHair I can tell that you take good care of your beard by the way you treat it and also by the love you have for it. Beard also helps for mental health in my humble opinion because the pleasure it brings to our mind, the total pleasure of having a beard has also been scientifically proven. Not to mention all the benefits for our skin, protection against UV, infections, flu and even reducing the shock of a punch 😅. And it has also been scientifically proven that a beard makes a man more attractive: according to a study by the University of Queensland, more than 3000 women were asked about their preference: bearded men or clean-shaven men? The result: The majority of women chose bearded men as more attractive and more loyal for long-term relationships. Also once there was a group of 6 women in a bar who were talking about a man who has a long beard kinda like Eric Young the creator of mountaineer beard brand, and 2 women among the group of 6 women were saying among themselves: 'he should trim his beard it is too much.!!' The other 4 women in the group replied: 'Are you kidding! his beard suits him very well like that!'

From the studies I’ve read they said eucalyptus increases testosterone. Multiple studies I’ve seen also say tea tree and eucalyptus are both very good for the beard, so just curious where you see that it’s bad? Not arguing here just looking for more info

@BeardsBladesandHair Man wow the Brawbeard oils : The Jarls Northman. I just have a word: wowwww!!!! This is the best beard oil I've tried in my entire life. Brawbeard wash is pretty good too, not that much lather from it. Which is a good sign.

@@metothemoon1227 why is a lack of lather a good thing?
@metothemoon1227 Жыл бұрын
@BeardsBladesandHair Apparently lather too much it is probably because the shampoo contains a high level of sulfates. Even if sometimes certain companies sometimes specify that their shampoo is “Sulfate free”
