Simmons SD200 it's the best most affordable electronic drum kit. I have mint integrated into my Ludwig acoustic drum kit. My Neil Peart/Bonzo hybrid kit! 🤘🤙

That high hat would be the big selling point for me because I've only ever played acoustic and that hi-hat feel of that tension on my foot is just so ingrained

Things are changing guys, we will be releasing at least three electronic drum kits this year. Two of them will be better than the FED1000 in the video, all of them will still have independent hi-hat and better module, and one of them will have an independent snare, the other one will have 6 drums and 4 cymbals.

Im late but I would flip the beater on the kick pedal around so it doesn’t damage the kick tower over time

It's not going to damage it, it's fine to use the felt side

So for electric drum kits do you just use headphones? I've always wondered and my mom won't let me get drums because they're too loud but this could be an option

Yes. You use headphones or you can connect the drums to an amp.

Ugh, the module! Best to use a vst like Superior or Addictive Drums for better sounds. That is if it has a usb or midi out.

The other kit ur talking about. The alesis. U can mod it. Giving it as many Symbols as u want and adding another kick drum for a double kick. It also has another head and gives a more realistic rebound than the $500 kit… There is more, but I‘m mot gonna bore u to death

No cymbal bells or muting I bet tho. That was a must for me so I went with a Simmons. I do wish it had the cymbal stand tho

For 500, just buy a good used acoustic set, unless noise is an issue. In my mind if you are buying electric kits and noise isnt a factor, you are just broke.
