Just got my entry set today & my launcher seems to be made up of parts from A1, A2 & A3 casts... So far though, it feels rock solid! No string jams/retracting problems & both left+right rotation seems to work very smoothly. It's possible that some people got a lemon of a launcher so I'd hope it isn't an issue with the casting process.. With your launcher and the retracting issue, it might help to open it up and see if you can add a couple more rotations to the winding spring so the string is more likely to retract quickly+fully upon launching. I haven't taken mine apart to see what's going on inside but it likely it's too different in comparison to the internals for the older LR string launchers/the more recent sparking launchers so it could be a quick fix. Either way, good luck with your launcher dude! Hope to hear an update if it ends up breaking on ya
