Flash. I have been a school teacher for over 21 years. Hi. Loving these lessons. I played when I was younger. I'm 51 and have started up again. I also just a couple of months back chopped off half my pointer finger on my left hand. I'm replacing finger with the next one down as best as possible and would just like to thank you for your time you put in. Thank you Zach. There seem to be a good deal of repetition of concepts of four. Four notes in each grouping c, e, g, a + f, a ,c, d + g, c, d, e. The rhythmic patterns were also helpful. Long, short, long, short - Short, long, short, long - Long, short, short, short - Short, long, long, long. Repeating each exercise four times. I am sure you have done a great amount of research figuring out leaning hacks. Bless you good sir. Only a couple of minutes in. For years I have only been playing a triad in regard to the a basic 12 bar blues or 8 bar variation. Learned more in a half hour using your method than I have in the last 10 years. That says a lot!

I am wondering what chunking and short-term sucesses (enjoying something early on/reward) will do as an archetype for teaching myself as well as others more efficiently. John Cee🎹🎼🎵🎶 Hulk!! You present a very good and easy method. I'm 76yrs young, I learned on the Accordion at age 4 & did not enjoy the instrument. I have been a member of musician local 802 in NY. have had gigs at weddings, clubs & street festivals in the metro area of NYC. About 20 years ago I purchased a Keyboard with styles and sounds. I could play along using advance cords 9ths 11ths and 13th with alt cords. I now have a Korg 4x @ a Korg Kronos with midi plug in. I always wanted to learn to play piano using my fingering left hand. I am looking forward to your videos. You do a great job of explaining & slowly showing how to place the fingers on the keyboard!! So im writing this in my own words so im not just passively watching the piano tutorial. The way i get the left hand to follow the four note boogie is to alternate the tempo and repeat each different mix four times each. Short short long short etc in all manner of combinations. That will help in sink in to the muscle memory when i return to the simple 4 /4 time. And before that i gradually added a note and repeated in increments until i had the whole measure. Zac you're very energetic and id drink the...ah but to learn the piano this is a cool aid. I wish you and all your students well. Thank you.
