I have ‘In Memoriam’ by Alice Winn in my TBR and I really need to read it this year. I’ve heard so many positive reviews. I also have ‘The New Life’ by Tom Crewe, which is queer Victorian. I’d like to read the Monk and Robot books but for some reason they are ridiculously expensive in the UK. I believe they are going to be published as a combined paperback later in the year so will check it out then. I think I’d like to read ‘Huckleberry Finn’ and then read James in comparison. Huckleberry Finn isn’t such a popular classic in the UK but as a child I do remember watching the American TV children’s series. Even then it seemed problematic. So many books I need to get through and watching this I need to add more.
