Radium Grils has been on my radar for quite some time now and though I like reading non-fiction I always seem to put it off for some reason. But listening to you talking about it definitely makes want to read it asap!

The Radium Girls sounds so interesting, i'm a bit cautious as I can get pretty intense health anxiety but I'll definitely give it a go! i got priory for christmas so i'm hoping that i will finally get over my fear and pick it up!

Honestly my health anxiety is through the roof ridiculous but I just took it slowly or even skimmed over paragraphs that were obviously about the dentist etc. Oof YAS PRIORY

My personal best for 2019 were - The Winter of The Witch by Katherine Arden, Circe, Small Spaces by Katherine Arden, Pages & Co by Anna James, A Place Called Perfect by Helena Duggan and some really good, non translated french stuff

As much as I loved Daughter of the Forest, Wolfskin is my favourite Juliet Marillier. Its so good- I read it in one day during exam season. You should definitely check it out!!

I LOVED The Themis Files, so so good! I read Sleeping Giants in February and then Waking Gods immediately after! I got Only Human for Christmas so I am excited to read it! And I really liked Radium Girls, it was a very heavy read but it stuck with me. I don't read a lot of nonfiction but that's one I loved.

I sooooo need to read the Nevernight series ASAP, I’ve got his Lotus war series to read and they look fabulous but I really really need to get to them. I also need to get on with the Bone Season. What other books do you have of that Juliet Marillier?

I have the Lotus War books too (well, the first two - you’ll see in my vlog tomorrow!). I just want to make my way through all jay Kristoffs books now aha. And YES Bone Season please! You need to read it before the 4th book comes out 😁 as for Marillier, I have the second book in the seven waters series and the first book in the Blackthorn & Grimm series!
