Haha. Loved the image of you giving your tripod "a nice warm bath" - that made me laugh out loud. Good honest review of the tripod. I like the flow of the water in the shot around 3:22.

Hey Jeremy Been using a K&F tripod for over 2 yrs now for video and lightweight travel photography. Never let me down. Mainly I use the Benro full carbon fibre tripod with a 20kg payload,it’s a beast of a tripod and super expensive around $950.00 But the K&F tripod I also recommend. Thanks for showing us this one mate. Cheers.

I prefer the levers rather than the twist locks too, but i know what you mean about having to look after them. Cool review and you came back with some nice shots. The seascape at 3:49 was my fave.

love Curtis falls I was up there on Thursday, it did piss down on me lol. I use the cheaper travel tripod by k@f concept it's my go-to waterfall now so light weight for when I have to hike into destinations.

yeah its a good little tripod, i was there Wednesday so just missed you lol.

Great stuff mate. Looks like a decent budget tripod. I have a Neewer budget tripod that I use for the vlogging camera that is very similar, except it has the twist locks on the legs. I agree with your the snap locks are far better. Great seascape tips for sure about tripod maintenance. And got a couple of really nice images out of your review as well! Hope all is well mate, chat soon!

Thanks mate!, something different. That morning should have been a moody sunrise vlog lol.

Looks a decent tripod Jeremy and my Manfrotto has the same clips which I do prefer to the twist ones. Appears sturdy and rugged enough in your two test scenarios and wonder what it would be like in some strong wind? That's where I find the biggest issue in keeping the camera steady and stable. Great images down on the coast btw !! Hope you're doing well and safe travels mate.

Thanks Andrew yeah not a bad little tripod mate for the price. Stay safe and hope your good.

Cheers Jeremy. I’ve had a K&F for a couple of years, a slightly upgraded one from this one, all metal and with twist locks on the legs. Rock solid, handles the knocks ok, never any doubts it would do all I need (not a pro like you though). Thanks for the in-field review very helpful.

Thanks Jeremy. After seeing Sniper's review I purchased a K&F Concept tripod almost identical to this one recently. As a beginner and not wanting to spend too much money I found this to be perfect. I am on the small side and it is very light to carry. I spent quite a bit of time with it at the beach over two days and it did not let me down 😊 Edited: I will add that I also received invaluable tripod advice from Lisa Frost!

Great review mate! I know you said you’re not a review channel but I actually think the channels that aren’t “review channels”, a lot of times, do the best reviews as they’re more practical and less just a rundown of specs etc. Is the logo at the start the fiverr jobby your were looking into man? Either way it looks dope 😁🤙
@JeremyPayne3 жыл бұрын
Yeah mate Fiverr came through with the goods, thanks for putting me on to them legend. might play around with the logo but a colour and black and white both vector was about 50 dollars, you would have to pay 500 odd dollars i reckon for a graphic designer to make it.

@@JeremyPayne no worries man, glad you found something really decent! Mate for real, the reason I was so dubious about the whole thing was because the prices just seemed too good to be true but yeah it seems to be a great space to find this kinda stuff. I feel like I’m gonna use it loads in future haha

A great review mate! My first tripod had snap locks on the legs but now I have the Artcise AS80C Carbon Fiber Tripod. It has the twist locks on the legs and I find that they help me slow down as like you said, you have to really make sure they are twisted tight enough. Also it has the bowl mount so it makes sure your tripod is level without adjusting the legs. Its not a budget tripod as it retails for $247AUD on Amazon but its worth every dollar IMO :) I also laughed at your little slip up about the clouds at Curtis Falls 🤣 I guess, bottomline is ANY tripod you have at that moment is better than no tripod :)
@JeremyPayne3 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate yeah any tripod will do if you cant afford a top of the line one, they do there job. Looked up and seen black clouds and didn't feel like getting wet lol.

@@JeremyPayne Curtis Falls looks like it hasnt changed at all, especially the huge log giving the leading line to the falls. It was there about 8 years ago when I was there last. It's a truly awesome walk along the stream there. Have you done a vlog on that walk before? If not I feel it would make for a great vlog as there are plenty of spots to photograph along the stream. Also I love your new logo 👌🏻

Nice review on the tripod. Like you said it’s a good wee backup tripod or maybe to be used to hold your camera on when in the studio filming a video. Might look into this one as need a new one. Had a Vanguard now for about 13 years. Lol.
