Funnily enough, I bought Zara's Tone Indeterminee when it first came out because I loved it so much. So when Black Phantom came out the year after, I was shocked to the core at how similar it was. To me, it mirrored the Individuel - Original Santal fiasco, how an upper tier company could clone a 15 dollar fragrance and sell it for 300. Not saying that's what happened, but it definitely seemed like it at the time. lol Both fragrances are great, but my pocketbook loves ZTI a little more. Thanks for the heads up on Black Knight J. Yup 👌 I got 1981x and was dissapointed. It only lasted about 1.5 hours on my skin. I wrote CS and they suggested I let it sit for a couple weeks and try it out again. that worked and the smell got even better as well. I literally just now got a DK sample in and it smells amazing as well.

I was at an event here in NY last week (met Jeremy Fragrance there) and someone I was having a convo with told me about this. He had a sample & sprayed some on a card for me to smell and I loved it. I've had that card sitting on my laptop for 2 days and the smell is intoxicating! Almost reminds me of incense. Great video! I have 13 Alexandria Fragrances. My favorite is their Nasamotto Pardon clone, No Apologies. It's is absolutely incredible and at this point, NOT getting complimented is the exception, not the rule. He has some absolutely amazing fragrances both clones and originals (check out Egyptian King and Egyptian Seduction). Also, his Nasamotto Black Afgano clone, Anubis Kiss is fire. I'm going to wind up with over 30 of his when all is said and done.

I don't know (nor care) how close it is since I never smelled VIW, I can tell you that Hawaii Volcano smells AMAZING. One thing I rarely see VIW/HV described as is sexy. And it's VERY sexy.

tracer073.. I've got Hawaii Volcano as part of a sample pack on its way. So I can't comment yet on that one, but I have to say everyone I've received so far as been 95% or better. I've noticed the openings seem to have a slight difference about 5% difference, but then when the scent dries down it becomes virtual impossible to detect from the original. The Runway is like that. 95% from the opening and 98% onward to dry down of Reflection man. Lasts 14+ hours. I would recommend getting a sample pack for $50 because you are getting 7 different fragrances of your choice @ 5ml = 35ml total. You can pick up 1 fragrance 30ml for $39, or 60ml for $59. 5ml is great sample size because these are Parfum Extraits and last a long time on skin, so you don't need a ton of sprays. Many of the samples I bought wound up being full bottles because the scents are so dead on to their originals and the performance actually exceeds the originals in most cases.

No it does not. 1 hour projection for me using Ombre noir. My 2010 La Nuit gives me 2.5 hours with 3 sprays. Ombre noir smelled perfumy to me. I am worried buying another Alexandria frangrances due to this fact. I dont like "perfumy" fragrances.

What an unfortunate, from 10 friends that I shared little decants from my bottle of Ombre Noir, 8 got better projection than the 2009, Longevity easily 8 solid hrs. 2 they said they like it but they never has experience with the 2009 batch.
