I’d totally forgotten “SPOTLIGHTING”, Lisa, so this was a TERRIFIC video for me today! There are SO MANY TECHNIQUES in stamping n’ cardmaking that often some of those “oldies but goodies” are forgotten! This BREATHTAKING BOUQUET is a PERFECT STAMP to “spotlight” the technique! I liked all 3 of your designs but the one with the “black circle layer” stood out in such a lovely way so I think it’s “my fave”!! I also like the slight variation on the OVERALL card w/the varied borders! (Only on 3 sides!!). Just an interesting n’ unique placement! TFS n’ HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’! ENJOY YOUR DAY! :-))

I love this stamp and what you did with it! It’s simple, but elegant. I like the cut out glued flat, without the deminsionals and without the black circle behind it. It seems to blend in with the background better to me. I think I might try using more cut outs, maybe some leaves, I am just going to have to have this stamp and play with it!!!

How interesting! Most people seemed to prefer the one with the black circle...I liked it flat on the paper. I've done this with b&w printed papers too.

Thanks for the tip on using the blends and the spotlight technique. I liked 1 and 2 style with 2 being my favorite though I do like the use of dimensionals, style 2 was preferable to my eye. LOL, when I saw that background stamp that is exactly what I thought; too much work to color so that stamp will be a pass. Glad you showed us another way to use it.

I give a slight margin to the 1st card followed by the 3rd, then 2nd. The raised and leaving some background white were more of a visual surprise. I kept wanting the background of the 1st colored circle to be green like the last 2, but leaving it white blends it again to the background so the eye moves around. I also liked the big pop of yellow with the purple.
