Amazing video touch ups that made it look like a 90s documentary, bringing in the nostalgia!

It will be much better if we can hear the wok and surroundings instead of music.

Thank you for ur video. The oil for frying is very dark brown/black, old oil used lots times deep frying other foods. This causes cancers, lots other illnesses. New clean, oil should be used for all cooking.

Oh my God, it seems the bean sprouts not washed as the bean shells still stick to the sprouts.

The oil used to fry the noodles at the beginning of the video is probably recycled oil, judging from the dark colour due to multiple frying of food. I shudder when I think where they source this oil from!😢 That’s why I try not to eat out, maybe 2-3 meals per week and personally cook 90% of my meals at home.
The prices they are charging is cut-throat and does not commensurate with what they are dishing out. We consumers should stand in solidarity and stop supporting hawkers who charge unreasonable prices. This stall is one of them.
I am referring to the first hawker, the lady chef (Geylang 29 staff): Don't waste your time and calories on this one. From the process, it is just a run of the mill dish. Looked overcooked, soggy and salty to me.

After seeing the large amount of black oil used to fry this dish, I won’t be eating fried hokkien mee anymore. My arteries feel clogged😢 ….

Simply say that it is recycle oil on the dark sauce shows ignorance about Chinese cuisine. Don't be ignorant, it is dark soya sauce, the basic knowledge.
